Room was good the food was good staff was very good. Negatives for me were all bar stools have no high backs and n lounges were a bit uncomfortable and the monkeys we thought we would see around the resort were caged up nothing loose around the resort. Also the sports bar was closed during our stay however the beach and food made our stay worthwhile

Spectacular beach and ocean waters! Modern room, with motion detection lighting feature - fulfilling the sustainability brand promise. Delightful animals - including white peacock - roaming freely in natural habitat. Clean room and public spaces. Quality spa, which also offers massage services at beach or in jungle. Buffet and special restaurants offered wide variety of options. Christmas dinner was extraordinary!!!

The staff was very courteous. The room was clean. However, we discovered very small ants on the desk and on the wall. They were harmless but unpleasant.

The hotel is terrible. I would never go back. Check-in is at 3 o'clock. We arrived at 2:30 they told us to have lunch and come back at 3 o'clock because the room wasn't ready. Then they started offering us excursions or a massage for $150. When you refuse they are not very happy and put you in a nasty room. They checked us in at 4 o'clock. We are with a small child who didn't stop crying. The room smells of mold. It's all dusty. There are two bedside lamps but one doesn't work. The bathroom is old. For the first time I've seen a cement bed and a mattress on top. The view from the terrace was... better not to go out 😀 Luckily for us, we also had a scorpion in the room next to my child. They said it was normal because we were in the jungle… But my opinion is that the room should be safe for their guests ..The Italian and Chinese restaurants are by reservation. You can visit them once. The food in the restaurant was good. The waiters and bartenders were on a level. You have to go to the beach at 7 o'clock to reserve a sunbed, if you don't get up early you will be sitting on the sand 😀 The beer is draft, no bottles. Mineral water is a mirage.. This is the worst money I spent on vacation! I don't recommend it even to my enemies!!!

Our room was close to the beach and the pool making quick trips to the room convenient . The staff was always pleasant and easy to talk to. The entertainment staff was outstanding during the week however on the weekend things to do were hard to find. I found the continuing run of the same video a bit tedious. Although the restaurant foods were quite tasty the buffet seemed to be a repeat each meal of the same things. All in all we enjoyed our stay. We have been going to this same hotel for 20 years so we would notice how things have changed over time.

I like the jungle setting and all the different animals. The staff was very nice. The jazuzzi needs to have an age limit posted. It was used as a childrens swimming pool with an averaga of 8 kids under 10 in it most of the time. There is no pool side service. The bar near the pool is open but the line is long. What was most disappointing was the "$300 resort credit". The credit part is very misleading and can only be used after you spend $100 and you then can use the money in increments of $25 as a voucher.

This was our third resort that we stayed at in Playa del Carmen and we enjoyed the other two resorts a lot more. The service here was lacking but there were a few staff that were excellent. The food options and variability was much better in the other two resorts. The best a la carte restaurant was closed most of the week due to “low staff” but one of the staff at the resort informed us that they had staff not working as many days/hours because it wasn’t a busy week for the resort. Overall the experience was good but not excellent. We likely would not choose this resort in the future again.
