Excellent time with very attentive staff. Luiz, Jesus, and Eddie were exceptional. Kids loved the foam party. Generous drink pours and short waits. Be sure to visit the local ranch and sink hole. Can't wait to come back.
Luiz and Jesus and Javier and Eddie made sure to personalize our stay and made us feel welcome, special, and safe. The rest of the staff was welcoming and friendly. We have had a great time, hope the next couple days are as good as the last couple. I'm sure it will all be over way too soon.
We have just spent 11 nights at generations hotel, Rivera maya. The quality of the food was fantastic, hotel very clean and luxurious and in particular some of the staff we met made the stay extra special. Roman the waiter at breakfast always provided a lovely service always going the extra mile, Xavier and Jesus were extremely helpful and most importantly Luiz. Luiz was great fun, friendly, made a massive effort to make sure we had everything we needed and our little boy thought he was amazing, especially his crocodile and iguana hunting skills. Highly recommend this resort.
This resort is a disappointment and really degrades the value of AAA ratings. The service is good in a few spots but mainly disappointing. Fernando at the pool bar is fantastic just to name one. However, the service is not fair for the price paid. This is not a good way to spend your vacation. The room service was unresponsive (the website promises 24/7). For example, when I called the front desk to get an order, there was no response. When I called the front desk to ensure connection, I was dealt with extremely rudely. I am a paying guest! An important issue in Mexico is bottled water. After our room was turned I didn’t get my bottled water restocked - an honest mistake. I asked the “butler” to stock my room with water. Later that day there was still no water. This was just unbelievably sloppy in terms of service, because of the need for bottled water. I can’t believe this type of service is an acceptable standard for 4 Diamonds. I can’t believe I’m stuck here for the next 2 days. Bad food. Patchy service. Worn Property. Management probably doesn’t care.
Thanks so much to all for a great time! Nick, Imelda, and Rudi went above and beyond to make our trip fantastic. Nick even climbed a tree to get the kids a coconut and make them a special drink. They will remember that always! Also Fabiola, Mar, Janet and Seidy entertained the kids at the kids club so we could have some adult time. Thanks again to all!
This was our second time here and I have to say it was perfect! Our butlers, Nick, Imelda and Rudy were outstanding and tending to our every need. Nick even carried my 7 year old to the kids club when her knee hurt. Can’t beat that for service. The ladies at the kids club, Fabiola, Mar, Janet and Sadie made them want to go back daily. Cooking class was a huge hit! The room was perfect and our needs were anticipated before even asking. This is the service we expected when staying in a connoisseur 2 bedroom pool swim up suite. The excursions, parasailing and riding camels were both amazing and the adults and kids loved it! We will definitely recommended this resort to friends.
Once you go Generations you will never go back, because we hadn't come to generations before because we usually went to the azul gives but generations topped it off and now we will come back and see Nick the man our butler, Imelda and Rudi. Our kids made chocolates and key chains at the kids club with Faviola, Mar Cedy and Janet. See you all next month!
Our stay at Generations is a hawks family tradition, we hadn’t come to generations before but we will be regulars because of the hospitality, the food and especially the service from Nick the man our Butler also Imelda and Rudi. We highly recommend the activities with the kids club nannies, our kids made a piñata with Cedy Fabiola Janet and Mariana. We will be back soon.
Luiz Luiz Luiz. If you have not met the vertically challenged Luiz (and oh so cute), you should. Honorable mention Jesus, Javier, Activity staff (with braces..Evan maybe) and Kristel @ Chef Market. Janet and Mari and all the ladies at the kids club had requested goodbye hugs from our kiddos. We've been here again and again. Feels like family.
Amazing Vacation experience & Great staffs "Nick Imelda and Rudi" were exceptional at their job. Spa was wonderful and I can't wait to go back. The hotel is very clean and very well maintained, but need more restaurants.(snack bar, sweet shop) Our swim up room Was beautiful view, modern and clean.
