The initial room we were given when we checked in late in the day, wasn't great. It was rather small, felt unkept and the bathroom had water pressure issues. When we brought up the issues to the management, they were happy to make the switch the next day and gave us the free upgrade to a suite. Which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Laura- one of the manager was very accomodating and all the hotel staffs were helpful and friendly. Acanto felt like home during our stay!

The room had a few problems such as the shower pressure, leaking sink, living room tv had not volume. The property is cute, but if you’re like me, you probably won’t like the noisy bed sheets. The breakfast consists of boiled eggs and coffee, some individual cereal boxes and toast. The night guy Miguel was the best worker at the property.

What a unique property! So close to night life, dinning and beaches. First time staying at this place and would do it again! Next time we are bringing the kids!

It’s a lovely property, well maintained, spacious and most importantly friendly staff. Miguel is a star who is helpful and kind. I did have a room closer the 5th ave and hence was loud but it wasn’t too much of an issue for me.

Located in the heart of the action. Lots of restaurants and shops. Hotel is well maintained and house keeping does an excellent job. Friendly staff at the front desk. Shout out to Miguel for his happy and friendly attitude. His continental breakfasts are the best. The freshest fruits and different breakfast items are set up daily.

Nice property in center of town with very friendly staff. Easy 5min walk to the beach and 1min from 5th avenue. Rooms were spacious and clean, but some appliances were dated.

This was the perfect stay! We came for my daughter’s 18th birthday. The condo was perfect for the six of us. The option for the 3 bedroom 3 bathroom was exactly what we needed. The hotel staff was beyond professional and accommodating, they were incredible!! A wonderful change from the all inclusive scene, we enjoyed walking 5th Ave, exploring the town and even some time at a beach club. We will definitely return❤️

The location is very good. There’s lots of eating options nearby and lots of walkable shopping. The area is mostly quiet and it’s safe at night. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the large room we had.

This unique property is beautiful with typical Mexican flavor. It is also located in the heart of the shopping "La Quinta" street. Staff is friendly and specially the night staff, Miguel. He is pleasant and can provide any information you need. There is a secure bank ATM that you can get Mexican pesos around the corner from the Hotel. Our room suit was awesome and clean with new refrigerator and freezer. Microwave and stove. Air conditioner was perfect and crispy cold. Loved the ambiance and the terrace that oversees the ocean. I love this place and will return again. As for beaches need to go to El Canto Private Beach. Super clean, food service and beaches are absolutely clean. However, there is a cost $1000 Mpesos and return back to you $350 Mpesos credit for food or drinks. We will be back.
