I absolitely loved everything!

Very disappointing vacation: 1. We bought the room for extra money, but we were placed in the building far from the ocean. The room was super dark with insects, including roaches, and very limited internet. 2. Supervisor Omar shown unfriendly behavior to our request for the room exchange, he promised to contact us next day, but never did it. 3. The room’s supplies was limited to 3 stars hotel, moreover, sometimes the towels and shampoo were missing. 4. The staff, including the management, spoke very limited English. 5. Our personal item –electric Menorah we bought for Hanukah holidays was broken during the cleaning, but nobody notified us about the incident. 6. Room had no clock because of nonfunctional phone– the hotel did not have a replacement and we ordered a wakeup call every time. One day a wakeup call was missing, other day it was not in the requested time. 7. A beautiful theater (the heart of this resort) was closed, we had no entertainment in the hotel and no music at night in the lobby as it was done every night in the Beach resort. It was very boring and we did not feel AT ALL a Mexican fiesta 8. The shows were performed INSIDE of the Conventional Center without any precautions for the Covid-19 spread (some people there were sneezing and coughing). 9. The restaurant/buffet stuff did not wear the gloves when served the guests to fulfill their plates with a food. That was a worst vacation we ever had in Mexico. It’s shame to Iberostar Paraiso Linda!

A great place for all ages. Very kid friendly - great staff and over all a very good experience. Could definitely go back again!

Very enjoyed

We have stayed at probably 10 different resorts in the Riviera Maya and this group of Iberostar resorts is the overall best resorts we have experienced. I personally feel that if anyone gives this resort a bad review they just frankly can not be pleased and have unreasonable expectations or had a very isolated incident. The Maya/Lindo/Beach/Del Mar have the largest best designed pools of any resort we have ever stayed at period. The pool bars and pool seating are amazing. Food across the board was better than average and available all the time somewhere. There is a noticeable difference that the food quality and selection at the Maya/Lindo is better than the Beach/Del Mar, but honestly that was expected. The iberostar app for your phone was great and the check in was probably the fastest we have had anywhere. If I had to nit pick something I would say the mini bar in the room was very basic for a selection resort and had no snacks or fruit like some other resorts have had. I would also say that the lobby bar had top shelf drinks and was the only place on the resort that had some of those liquors like Don Julio, Johnny Wallker, etc. Fabian at the lobby bar was amazing and we enjoyed his drinks more than any other! We have used Happy and Nexus for transportation from the airport always with great experiences.

Exceded my expectations

The property was very dirty, pool was full of trash and wasn’t cleaned daily, this caused me to get hives. The rooms were somewhat cleaned but sheets were not changed daily. Also, the water fountains were filthy, every time I would get a refill of the only water they have at the resort, mosquitoes would fly out of the fountain. A couple of masks were also lost in the room I stayed in. Overall the service was terrible, many of my family members who joined me on the trip also had stomach aches, and hives. Would definitely not recommend this location again.

Loved it here

The food was incredible. The pools were amazing. Lots of activities so we were never bored. Beautiful architecture and landscaping. The resort is extremely clean. Iberostar employees all went above and beyond to cheerfully serve us with excellence. Franco, Gabi, Humberto, Paula, and Joshua engaged us in fun activities all week and made us feel like family. Amazing Zumba instructor led fun classes in beautiful gym and on the beach. Romy served us in the breakfast dining area and made us smile every morning. The Star Friends entertainment team put on amazing shows every night. Consuela never let us go thirsty on the beach, bringing us countless beverages. This is the gold standard for vacations. It exceeded my expectations in every area.

Impossible to get reservations for restaurants or spa.

Beautiful property, beautiful grounds, employees are very attentive. Which they have more restaurants and the plaza open.

We had an excellent time at the Paraiso Maya, but there are definitely some areas that can be improved. Sargassum seaweed was pretty bad and even though they were removing it from the beach daily, it would come back much faster than they can remove it. Also the French Restaurant was a joke, especially for the vegetarian options which was basically toasted vegetables. I kind of expected more from a specialty french restaurant. With these two exceptions, everything else was great and our visit was great. Staff is very good and attentive and the food is excellent but a little repetitive on some of the restaurants. Shows are super good and in general we had a great time. Most restaurants are also great and have great food options. Please label the dishes that are vegetarian. They do already in some dishes but not all and it is hard to figure it out for example if a soup has chicken broth or the refried beans have lard.

Great resort, the water park was so much fun and the staff friendly and very informative.

Also, the water fountains were filthy, every time I would get a refill of the only water they have at the resort, mosquitoes would fly out of the fountain. A couple of masks were also lost in the room I stayed in. Overall the service was terrible, many of my family members who joined me on the trip also had stomach aches, and hives. Would definitely not recommend this location again.
