I liked that it was clean. I did not like that they tested the fire alarm but didnt warn customers until AFTER alarms sounded that it was a test? Husband was showering kids (which u cant hear the alarms in bathroom apparently) and my son fell getting out the shower because of the alarms wet and half naked on our way to go into the halls when they annonced it was a test literally a minute or two after the alarms were going off. By all means test the alarms but warn people BEFORE not after. My kids could have gotten seriously hurt over a 'test'.

Better places to stay in the area.

Gym was being worked on. The chemical they were using to steam clean the hall at 5pm was toxic and made me feel woozy in my room until I could get the room to air out. I can only imagine how bad the rooms are after the carpets are cleaned. The entire second floor smelled of the chemicals with notes that the rooms had damp carpets when I went to get ice. Paying $30 for parking here is outrageous. Someone was hanging out in the gym with tools, not sure what was being worked on, but it smelled like oil.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE

I called the hotel on the night we arrived hours prior to our arrival to arrange the shuttle to pick us up. One Sonesta shuttle did show up but it was a ride to the wrong Sonesta. I called the hotel and I was told that I had to take an Uber now and that transportation could not be arranged. The next morning, I called the front desk on various occasions attempting to schedule the schuttle to the aiport. The front desk would not answer and when they did picked up the phone, nobody spoke, so I kept saying hello, hello? nobody. I had to go downstairs to speak to somebody directly. I requested the schuttle with 45 minutes in advance. The shuttle showed up 35 minutes late and the driver LITERALLY parked, walked passed us, and when we ask if we could go because we were late, the driver responded: "not my problem". He took his time inside the hotel, came out and began talking on the phone while we waited. I approached him and said: "why are you being so rude? we need to go!" he responded: "well... I guess you will have to find somebody to take you to the airport now". I reported this to the front desk, and not much was done. The dude ended up taking us, but with a huge attitude and when we arrived, he left our bags in the middle of the road where the cars still drive by. He would not help us to move them to the curve. AWFUL EXPERIENCE. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST!!!!
