This is a barebones hotel but we have limited travel experience in Europe so it might be the standard hotel. The location is awesome!! Lots of restaurants, shopping, access to the bus or Tube and tourists attractions within walking distance. The room itself had a comfortable bed, confusing lighting system and a nice shower. There was no safe in the room to lock up valuables, no TV, no coffee, no chair/desk. These items are standard in the US but again we have limited experience with Europe travel (just getting started). They had just enough towels - 2 bath, 1 hand and one for the floor when existing the shower. They did not have a breakfast or computer area onsite. But again lots of restaurants within walking distance so the breakfast onsite was not horrible. I’ll admit we might be spoiled Americans as we’ve travel all 50 states in the US and the hotels all had standard -safe, in room coffee/tea, chairs/desk for relaxing after a long day playing tourist & onsite food options for that late night snack. Overall this hotel was good - friendly staff & great location!

We arrived early, helpfully staff allowed us to check in which meant we could leave bags this was helpful. By the time we returned to our room much later to shower and sleep the shower and sink tap made terrible noises and the sink did not drain the water. The bed was cold as the very thin quilt did not suffice, the heating did not work and the pillows lumpy. Only one USB charger worked one switch above the heater I think for lights was broken all of this was too late to report at night. The reception is dark and they usually just stay hidden say behind a wall so not really approachable. The bed headboard was stained it all felt very grimy and unpleasant. When I booked I made a request for vegetarian breakfast. At breakfast was informed there was no veggie sausage or equivalent. That said the restaurant has a nice view on level 10. There was a lack of shelves, hanging places and the non-opening window was dirty! It’s in an excellent location but having experienced the assembly I won’t be going again! It has to be mentioned but the decor is almost unbelievable with a giant plastic pink rabbit in the corner of the room adorned with a leather padlocked choker…

Truly above and beyond customer service. We showed up 4 hours early after not sleeping all night on our flight, just hoping to leave our bags, and Adam said since he had a room available he’d gladly just check us in. Room was great, location fantastic. Any questions we had throughout our stay were met with kindness. No issues whatsoever! Highly recommend!

We would stay again as it suitted for what our needs where and for what we paid. But heres a few points below. Negative: Self check-in Charges for luggage holding Very small room No telly No kettle tea/coffee Bed small and not comfy at all Wifi in and out Positive: If the right price - Fab for a quick basic 1 or 2 night stay Blackout blinds Soundproof to other rooms but not outside noise LOCATION - Central to everything - 2mins to Trafalgar square, 7mins to big ben/the london eye (Fantastic for New Years Eve for Blue zone entrance 2), in Leicester square Theres loads of food/drinks places nearby Tube station 1min walk - Picadilly line (Navy blue) Our room view of the wheel - 8th floor M&M world. Odeon. Theaters (Magic Mike show) all a stone throw away.
