The pictures and amenities advertised by hotels.com describing the property are either not the property or are extremely outdated. The condition of the motel was gross. The reception/breakfast area was so dirty and foul smelling I don’t know how they can serve food to the public, breakfast included dry cereal and a half loaf of bread for toast, that was it. The door to our room had obviously been kicked or pushed in multiple times and repaired by painting over the damage. The dead bolt on the door did not lock and the slide lock was hanging on the door frame by one screw, rendering it a useless safety. The sanitary conditions of the bathroom are so nasty we brushed our teeth with bottled water, including hair on most surfaces, dirt and grime in the sink and shower, and unknown dried substances on the tables and counters. In addition the tv, fridge and micro did not work, i did not use the appliances for obvious reasons, however I did pay for them to be functional. We came into town for an event so we were looking for a cheap room to crash for a few hours before leaving town. I know this is a budget motel and the price reflected that. My complaint is primarily with the advertised conditions and amenities NOT reflecting the property.
