This is my second time staying at Embassy and crowd is way more than I expected. There was kids running around everywhere during check in and felt like the kids. Staff is patient during checking as it was chaotic.

Our hotel room was basically falling apart. The blinds to our room were broken, art work on walls were falling apart, the table in the entry was also hanging on for dear life. The mirror in the bathroom was broke all around the edges. Toilet was nasty & everything was very outdated. Overall the service was fine. Thankfully the bed was clean but had I known I would’ve booked somewhere else. Photos on the website were deceiving.

Not what I expect from Hilton

The room was not in the best condition. The bathroom fan did not work. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was not very good. The location was great tho!

There were many issues with elevators during this stay. There was visa me water damage in the bedroom. The air in the room was set on cool at 68 degrees and never got below 72 and usually around 74. This was very uncomfortable.

Terrible customer service

I went to check in and they told me the room I reserved on hotel.com was sold out so they tried to put me in a different room that didn’t meet our needs and would have been cheaper than the one I paid for. One lady told me the rooms were all booked and there was nothing she could do. In speaking to a manager they were able to get me in the original room I booked but I never received the items for the premium booking snacks/ drinks. Even though I called multiple times and they kept saying they would send it up.

Most everything was great about our stay at this property. Was a bit noisy in the mornings when trying to sleep in from inside and outside the building noise but other than that it was very nice!!! Would definitely recommend and consider coming back to again if staying in Chicago.
