a small fridge with 3 cheep bears no spirits or ice is not a mini bar,on their web site and on the info package they gave us,both said room service would deliver,it took over 3hours our first night and no alcohol ,the toilet above was dripping on us but no one would fix it,we never got a pool lounger you had to put a towel on one at 5am,the food in the buffe was always cold,we paid a lot of money for a terrible holiday we will never use this site again.

The resort has a pleasantly elegant interior setting that was very clean throughout. The ambience is calm with an integrated natural/green feel. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Bedding covers could be better. The AC in the room was quite loud. Room view wasn't great overlooking a large flat roof overhang when it should have been a full oceanview rather than an obstructed view. The room location was relatively convenient and accessible within the resort, close to restautants, lounges, bars, spa, pools, and beach access, but quite noisy from the balcony due to daily parties and shows at the pool area. The smell of food was very strong at the balcony at times from the restaurants directly below. Staff was mostly polite and courteous with a few exceptions. Room service was timely. Food and restaurants we experienced (Flora, Capella, Limon) were mostly average or mediocre, at times dissapointing compared to previous experiences at various other resorts throughout Cancun. The buffet was the go-to for the more decent selection of food options throughout the day. Check-in was a little busy, but check-out was a breeze.

I stayed at this property in early March and I’ve been to others in Cancun and so far this one has the best food. They do have a buffet open for breakfast , lunch , and dinner that does not require reservations but the food was exceptional and it did not disappoint for any time of the day. I really didn’t mind the other restaurants needing reservations since the staff is able to help you reserve for a couple days straight , I will say get there to the reservation table exactly at 10am so you don’t have to wait in long lines to reserve. The beach was super clean. The only downside was that my room seemed to be very old although the pictures on booking looked like they were remodeled. I did read that they have only certain rooms that are remodeled which does suck. Overall the room was clean but didn’t meet my expectations compared to what the resort looks like I was expecting a nice room.

Even if the hotel is a bit old, it's very well situated with a beautiful beach. Everything is close and you never need to walk far. The food is ok for a week, but not amazing.
