Pool was average, building blocked the sun so it was a bit chilly, food was not very good at buffet and they charged $5 usd for room service . Limited menu on food for room service . Mini fridge was not well stocked with drinks. Bottled water was given 2 bottles per day. Reservations needed to be made days prior for restaurants and it was very limited seating. Kids area was under construction 3 out of 4 days we were there.

The very large pool was enjoyable, there was an adult only section. where the pool bar and swim up was constantly busy from opening to closing. Occasionally there was a pop up food , tasting or craft activity. It was nice

Staff were very pleasant. The resort is smaller which is nice! They have members and segregated areas for members in dining which half the time we’re not used but we were not permitted to sit there! That is kind of annoying and very class driven which makes no sense when people are paying very good $$$ to stay there. As a vip Expedia member I was not afforded an upgrade even though there was one available and they wanted to charge me $$. Rooms are dated but clean.

I had a windshield broken by a coconut in the guests parking lot and hotel took a lot of time to accept responsibility which made me miss my flight and until now, almost 3 weeks I haven't received the reimbursement since car rental company charged my around $500 USD for the broken windshield.

Several reasons I would not recommend this place. One reason was the rude desk staff members and not helpful with any requests. Secondly the food was barely edible with very few choices. Also you can hear any and all conversations from your next door neighbor. Te walls are so thin you can hear their alarms text messages & any conversations. I booked a balcony and didn’t know the balcony is just facing a wall so never book a balcony not worth the extra money. I can go on and on so please book another place. So many more options that are probably way better.

Gorgeous view! The staff were amazing, so nice and great energy! Very welcoming. The activities were super fun and entertaining. The activity guides were THE BEST, such good energy and got to know all of the guests! And so sweet! Such a fun time! The food was delicious from the buffet! Will definitely be back! Even the other guest were so fun and nice!

Everything was perfect! We stayed there for 7 days and 6 nights, and every night there were special and different shows, which we really enjoyed. In the mornings, we had a lot of fun with the water activities organized by the staff in the swimming pool. All the staff were friendly and kind—before we even asked for anything, they already offered us our drinks. Our room was clean, and the entire hotel area was very neat and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will definitely come back next year.

We loved it here. The restaurants are not that great other than Zai but you will never be hungry. There is so much to choose from food wise. The high rise next door sucks because you have to move your chair by the pool all day if that’s where you plan to be instead of the beach but the staff were so nice. We will go back for sure. It’s close to the airport everyone was so nice and we were treated as well as everyone else “members”.

GR Solaris Cancun was a vibe from start to finish. Drinks were flowing and the energy never dropped. Mauricio at the pool bar kept the party going all day — great attitude, great drinks, nonstop good vibes. Aberham at the lobby bar was legendary and put us onto these Mexican candy shots that were next level… absolute game changer. Strong, fun, and dangerous in the best way. Daniel, our server, was always on point and made sure we were taken care of no matter what. If you’re looking to drink, relax, and have an amazing time, this is definitely the spot. Would 100% run it back.
