She has always been cordial and have made my stay exceptionally pleasant. I would just like to this location ...
Overall it is a nice place to stay - an island within an island - but they need a little more attention to detail, rooms some updating, and additional staff at the front desk. The grounds were good, but there was the occasional litter that needed to be picked up. The pool area also had towels left ...

This hotel is in the best location! It is in the charming historic downtown of Amelia Island. The breakfast room is sunny and lovely and breakfast is delicious. Staff is friendly and courteous.
We enjoyed the hotel very much. The beds were soft, breakfast was good, the pool area was clean and not too strong of chlorine. The only problem I really had was when I dropped my phone in the bathroom and it slid under the sink cabinet and the only way to get it out was by coat hanger and along with pulling my phone out we pulled hair & Q-tips among other things.
The location is great, right across from the beach and a nice restaurant with good seafood and live music at night. Check in was efficient , the room is spacious and clean though decorations are a dated. At least it doesn’t have a smell like older hotels. The beds are on the firm side but not uncomfortable. Housekeeping only does rounds once a day so on a couple days we got up late and request not to be disturbed , they didn’t come back later in the day to clean and change the sheets and towels. Included breakfast is basic with the usual continental fare. They always have water with lemon, cookies and coffee throughout the day at the lobby and dining area so I found that really thoughtful, especially after getting back from the beach. You can also puchase alcohol and other beverages at the reception desk. Parking is plenty and well-lit at night. Pool is small but did not get to use it so not sure if it was heated. Overall we had a good experience and price is very reasonable, considering location-wise, they’re better than the Marriot that was almost twice as expensive. I will definitely consider staying here again next time I get to visit Amelia Island.
Comfortable beds and pillows, working fridge. Clean room.
