We checked in and went to our room briefly, then went out to eat. When we came back. There was another family in our room. They had been given the wrong room and were moving to the right room, but it already needed to be cleaned. Rather than clean it, we were given another room. When we went to that room there were people in it, but they were also leaving and did not seem to have used anything in the room. Definitely a room management issue here...
Easy walk to the beach. Clean with a couple of exceptions like stains on the shower curtain. Front desk staff was slow at check-in.
I liked the proximity to the beach. I liked the convenience of the restaurant next door.
The floors where dirty, as soon I stepped out of the shower and walked to the bed my feet were dirty and needed to be washed again. Not enough parking spaces, I was told to park next door and walk down the dark non-lite sidewalk with my 3yr old. Front desk person was having a what appeared ro be an arguement with a guy who works there (maybe maintance), and he waa pretty rude and she was crying the whole time I tried to have a conversation with her.
Nice clean room,very convenient location ,good,fresh breakfast and coffee and tea were available all day.

The tub filler dripped constantly. No plug-in the sink. Whole bathroom was sub standard. Room was not made up. Had to request room service.

Best part about this hotel is its location - first block from the beach, couple of fantastic dining options within walkable distance (Sliders restaurant - must try seafood place with indoor/outdoor seating, and V-Pizza). Its within 5-10 minutes drive to all major attractions (Downtown, dining, main beach park, Fort Clinch State Park, Lighthouse and much more). Rooms are good, but bathrooms and some furniture need an uplift. Breakfast is great. Staff is courteous. We enjoyed watching beautiful sunrise from the room and beach which is literally across the road from the hotel. Long walks on the quiet, pristine beach were highlights as well. We went in Dec during cold wave in US, so it was much colder than usual, but with proper clothes, we enjoyed nearby outdoor attractions.
