We stayed last year and returned after having a nice time. The complex is large and beautiful. Checked into our room, dirty and pillows are flat, need to be replaced. Had to have housekeeping come clean bath floor that had hairs and fuzzies. Also no shower soap. One small bar of hand soap for three day stay. No cleaning on our last day. Was also charged over $60 for bar visit we didn’t do. Had to dispute. We are a bit disappointed in our stay and lack of care we received.

Staff was very courteous but I requested twice- through email and phone that our room be close to the elevator because I’m traveling with a senior that uses a walker/cane and our room was very far from the elevator and check in area.

A few things... 1) we got completely lost trying to get to our hotel room. The signage for the rooms is sparse and unclear. Perhaps you can put a sign on the sidewalk as you exit the old main lobby. 2)the walk from the parking garage to the room is very far. It would be helpful to have someone in a golf cart driving people from the garage to the hotel. Or let people know that valet is a much better option bc of the distance. 3) there were no cleaning wipes in the gym. Unsanitary. 4) I was told I am in a "newly renovated" room but I don't think it is finished being renovated. The toilet is not working properly. You flush, it doesn't flush, you try again it might work, you wait and then maybe it flushes. Or you wait some more. The faucet in the tub is coming out of the wall when you lift the knob on top so you have to hold the faucet and pull otherwise the faucet just pulls up out of the wall with the knob. There are no hooks to hang towels in the bathroom. It looks like they forgot to put the hooks back on. The smell of paint in the bathroom is nauseating. The back porch is filthy as were the table and chairs. I understand you are undergoing renovations, and one thing I can overlook, 2 maybe, but on and on is just not okay. I honestly felt like I was staying at a comfort inn

This property is under extensive renovation. There are loud noises all day long, workers painting all over the exterior, and large boxes and equipment on all levels. The elevator in the parking garage is closed and requires a long walk to the resort. Our experience was not good.

This is a fabulous resort with outstanding service, gorgeous views and beautifully decorated for the holidays. The grounds are large and have everything right there from shops to a variety of restaurants to 18 hole putt putt golf all in walking distance. My family and I will be back.

We encountered a rather disappointing experience; it was not disclosed at the time of booking that the hotel is under renovation, no lobby area to enjoy a drink or music during cold winter days. Everything is under renovation. Make sure to wait till summer 2026.
