Staff was good. Valet parking is $30 a day with not many other options available. I had seen earlier reviews post that a shuttle was available to the BOK, but that is not correct. Hotel was clean, good breakfast with good coffee both in the room and at breakfast. Good location, but the parking will most likely prevent me from returning.

Check in was good. The staff was polite. I wish there was a way to attach a picture here. I booked a room with a pull out sofa sleeper. When we pulled out the sleeper about 5 inches of the end of it was laying on top of the bed. Obviously no one checked to make sure it would fit in the room. Because it was Route 66 Marathon weekend the hotel was booked so no other room with a sleeper was available. The staff’s solution was to wedge the sleeper into the side of the bed. This meant that you could only exit from the end or one side. The lights in our room and in the hall flickered constantly or would just randomly turn off. Not fun at night in the shower and the bathroom goes pitch black. To top it off the A/C unit was loud like the fan needs to be replaced. So I got about 3 hours of sleep before a marathon. Needless to say it was my worst finish time. For all our troubles we received a free Gatorade.

Nice room. Very usable. Hotel was attractive in a nice location. The only problem was the little things-no soap in bathroom or shower, plug didn’t work in bathroom, no coffee at breakfast. When we mentioned them, we were met with a shrug. No one even wrote them down. Other than that, hotel was nice.

The room was clean and the staff great, but the AC was not working and sounded like a jet engine while it tried to cool. Breakfast was delicious the next morning and the shower had great water pressure, but no hand soap at the sink, had to use shower gel. The pizza from The Place was 5 star!
