The hotel feels fresh and newish. The rooms are spacious and attractive, and beds are comfy. We have stayed in many of the nicer Puyallup hotels, and this one is our favorite.

It was a GOOD stay, not a great stay. The staff, amenities & cleanliness of the hotel were great! However our room should’ve been cleaned better each day we were there - we were there for 4 nights, beyond just making the beds & “straightening” the bathroom & fresh towels. I come from an era not more than 10 years ago (before I retired & traveled 50-60 nights a year) where the floor got vacuumed, fresh sheets everyday, etc. I know for a fact the toilet wasn’t thoroughly cleaned because there was blood from a cut we had on the outside of it that was there for 2 days.

Overall this was a great place to stay. The reason I gave 4 star instead of 5 is because the room had an extremely strong bleach smell when we entered it. So strong that it was burning my eyes. Was also woken up early because of a dog barking in a room. But those were my only cons. The rest of the experience was great.
