DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Airport

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

The hotel is located at the airport and convenient to major highways.

I stayed at this hotel with my sister and grandmother we all had a great experience!

Nice hotel, parts of it areabit dated but the bathroom was new and clean. Bed was comfy, free shuttle to the airport every 20 min.

Great accommodations. Only question is the need to charge $25 per night for overnight parking.

Easy perfect for a quick stay traveling for work or pleasure

Was given a room in the "old Wing", asked to change because the rooms wallpaper was falling off and carpet was stained, they begrudgingly moved me to the new tower, over a construction site, next to the service elevator. It's apparent to me if you are not a Hhonors member you are not given consideration no matter how much you spend on the night stay. For $100 a night this place would have been great . However I spent over $200 for the night so my expectations were higher. The sheets are bad the air was musty. Not impressed. The staff was fine , but again I'm not an hhonors member.

My daughter and I spent two nights at the Doubletree by SEATAC. We were only there at night for the two nights. We were in the area for my brothers funeral which was in the Tumwater area. When I made the arrangements decided to reserve the Doubletree being close to the airport. It was convenient to the airport and close to the freeway that we took down to the Tumwater/Lacey area where the family lived and church was located as well as funeral home. I just hope we can get some extra charges on our bill explained and taken care of.

The maps providing guidance were insufficient. It took me about 15-20 minutes just to locate my room. That was probably the most frustrating part. And there were very few employees around the property. So that added to the frustration. Otherwise I was happy with the room and the remainder of my experience. Parking was a bit of a hassle.

Close to airport, friendly staff, the best cookies when you arrive fresh and warm. Walking distance to food and convient

The staff handled a bus load of tired travelers with care and quickly. This was the best hotel I got for a great price during this trip.

This hotel is outdated, and way to expensive for what they offer. Over rated...would not stay here again!

The staff went out of their way to make sure I was happy with my stay. The sandwich shop was just closed when I got back to the hotel. The cashier stayed to sell me a sandwich and make sure I was taken care of. Nice stay.

Hotel had all amenities one could want (restaurant, coffee shop etc in lobby) as well as a comfortable mattress, toiletries in room. Called desk to ask for help with setting digital clock in room. They immediately sent up a clerk to help!

Perfectly standard hotel room but the place was so massive it took me over 20 min to walk to my room. There was no offer of assistance w/my luggage from the desk staff and no bellmen to be seen. And no obvious security down long, isolated hallways straight out of The Shining... No thank you.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this Hotel. I decided that on this trip, we would stay a luxury Hotel for one night. So I splurged and paid nearly $200. on a room. One would expect a very nice room with nice accommodations and a comfortable bed, not so in our case. Once we turned from the lobby to go to our room, you could smell a musty odor (old carpet smell). When we got to your room we just stood at the door and looked at this tiny room we paid so much money for. Our room was smaller then a standard "MOTEL" room, the furniture was oversized which made the room even smaller, plus it was very outdated and very "beat up". There wasn't a minibar or microwave (not that they would even fit, but maybe they would with better fitting furniture). The bed was horribly uncomfortable, way to hard, no give at all when you sat or laid on it. We were very unhappy with our stay at a hotel.

I stayed at this hotel in 1998. The standards are still Excellent. I was in an uncomfortable situation on the second day of my visit last week, and the staff handled it elegantly. I would definitely come back.

Located 2 min from airport it's really quiet , place it's clean and staff it's nice .

LEakage in bathroom, they woke me up and kept me up for 2 hours to fix the problem. I overslept and resulted in missing my flight the next day.

From the minute we stepped out of the car we were disapointed! The parking attendent watched us pull up to check in, park, get out of the car, walk up to the doors to the entrance when he yells, "MOVE YOUR CAR!" All he had to do was smile and say excuse me... welcome to the Double Tree... can I ask you to pull your car up to this are... Or even just smile a little. We had been touring all over the Northwest and had stayed in some small town Inns so I decided to look for something well known and a little more expensive to recharge and relax for our night in SeaTac. The carpets were dirty, the room was dark, service was awful. My girls were looking forward to a "nice" hotel and so I felt bad that this supposed higher end facility was so dismal I was going to get them some food and ice cream Sunday's from room service. Well, our 20 room service turned into an hour, the hotel ran out of Ice cream so no Sunday's and the order was wrong!

Everything was very nice. The pool area was beautiful, along with the surrounding water.
