This hotel is terribly rundown and not worth the money charged for the room. After checking in and seeing the room I looked online to consider leaving and the same room was half the cost. When I went to the front desk to inquire about getting the cheaper rate the clerk said she couldn't do anything about room rates and even if I decided to leave I would not get a refund. It's not her fault, she is the worker. The hotel pictures are misleading and it needs a major upgrade. The carpet smells dusty and old and the wall coverings are peeling off. Everything is old and outdated. I will NEVER stay at a Days Inn again. Completely disappointed, I did not select a cheaper hotel because I didn't want a rundown place and unfortunately, I've paid twice the amount for a rundown place.
It was a nice stay, but the rooms could definitely use some updating, especially the carpet. Staff seemed friendly enough. Nice views of the ferries and boats on the lake headed back and forth to the island. The rooms are large and include a terrace. Although, there were pictures of a pool table and game room on the hotel photos, there is no pool table there. It is in walking distance to shuttle buses, ferries, tour buses, shopping and dining, etc.
The first day the room that we were put in was not the room that the pictures showed when I reserved the room. They said Orbitz had the wrong pictures. The next day they moved me to a better room. The staff was very pleasant and ended up treating us well. The hotel has an older feel and needs some updating. The couch in the 2nd room had a leg missing, so it was off kilter. The first room was bad for the price.
We were travelling with our dog, liked the lake view room but room conditions were unpleasant, ripped wallpaper, very small size compared to our previous hotel stays. We have stayed at Days Inn many many times before. This time very disappointed with the room they gave us, inspite of requesting an updated room.
Dirty no coffee for breakfast
The price was good for the location. But, the hotel hasn't been updated or had a deep cleaning in years. The pool was so gross and very dirty. There were literal plants growing in the cracks of the tile around the pool in the indoor pool area. The bathtub had gunk in it and there were spots of blood on the bed spreads. The "free breakfast" advertised was a granola bar and water. The location was convenient but the cleanliness really threw me off.
The property looks nothing as advertised. Beware!
Dead mosquitoes all over the walls and the curtain for the back slide door look like it had blood on it and very dirty. But staff was great!
Like to see more of the lake instead of parking lot

The description online says waterpark and pool. Pool was "under construction" so we had to go next door to a different hotel's pool. Waterpark was down the road at yet another hotel. Beds were advertised as queen sized...measurement proved they are actually full size beds. Water in the shower would go from warm to scalding hot in the middle of showering, burnt both my son and myself.

When we entered the room we found old food in the refrigerator and the coffee pot was not cleaned. I went behind the bedside table to plug in my phone, and the area was filthy. Every year we go back and stay in the bigger hotels, and they continue to get worse and worse. Never once have we had a positive experience with the wifi. In any of our rooms. Next year we will try one of the smaller, locally owned establushments. It is still our favorite get away spot. In all fairnness, the staff in all of the hotels are always friendly and helpful.the upkeep of the establishments is very shoddy for the amount of money we get charged every year.
If you just need a stopover for one night it was fine. I would not stay there for an extended period. The whole place needs an update. On the good side, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Also, they take pets for an extra charge.
It was a great location right off the lake. But room was musty and didt smell to clean. The plaster on the walls were cracking everywhere. Had to use a car air freshner to make room smell tolerable.
