Stagf was friendly and professional room.was clean
Breakfast was pretty good, bed was comfortable, room was quiet.
The bedroom black out curtains were dirty, stained and just... the bath tub was not the cleanest but was not going to use it...got there at 11 pm and my daughter was already asleep when i saw the curtains... so i didn't want to wake her up to move rooms after an 11 hr drive... i showed the 13 pictures to the front desk person who was willing to refund the price but the manager refused "since I stayed in the room"... my special needs daughter was asleep... the bed was clean... the carpet could use a good vacuum also i told her... have stayed before will never stay again and oh corporate could not care either... when i called them...
Hotel was nice and the room was clean however, I woke up in the middle of the night with a roach crawling on me and when I woke up to leave there were 2 baby roaches on the floor in the bathroom.
Best place I have stayed at in Statesville. Glad I went here instead of the one I had used previous times.
The indoor pool was out of service need to post that online of so because that's the only reason I got it and I found a dirty razor on the room
Comfortable king bed. Very good economy hot breakfast. Could not find menu for TV schedule using the remote. Did not notice recycling bins available.
Worst hotel ever... The staff is completely RUDE, the rooms are absolutely filthy and disgusting...I had to switch rooms 6 different times... The manager is very nice and tried to help as best he could with my room situation. But other then that, the staff is terrible. They allow absolute low class people to loiter around the outside of the hotel and and basically have a camp out with drinking, smoking, partying till all hours. This hotel chain should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. A budget friendly hotel without the top amenities is one thing, but the atmosphere here, is the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. A/C not working in the rooms, filthy disgusting bathrooms, dirty linens and the worst staff possible is only a few of the areas that are absolutely horrendous. This place should be shut down immediately!
The toilet was mess up and the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work.. the pull out bed was uncomfortable.. the staff was friendly..
We loved that that there was a great Mexican restaurant nearby. Desk staff was very nice. Really, everything was fine, except for the large cockroach that was crawling up the wall in the room that I had to kill.
The room was not clean. There was not a full compliment of towels in the room and none available from the front desk. The best they could do is provide a pool towel. They only had decaffinated coffee available in the room. They were waiting on a delivery truck.
The room smelled like mold. The couch was stained with the air conditioning unit that must’ve been dripping on it. Bathroom wall switch was broke,The towel bar was broke and there was stains in the tub
Fine for an over night. Dated electrical outlets.Bathroom was tired and worn down. Fine for an overnight, wouldn’t want to stay more then a night.
More variety for continental breakfast.l know lt do to the pandemic.

BAD HOTEL STAY AWAY We checked in for just one night to break up a long drive. I woke at around 3 am to use the bathroom, when I returned I noticed that part of the bedsheet we were sleeping under had a different feel to it. When looking at it further it was clear to see there were multiple stains all over it. At 3:30 am my wife and I decided we would no longer be able to stay so we took the sheet down to reception to show the staff while we checked out. Disgusting that a hotel Manager would allow this to happen. I was told by the night staff person that she would have the manager call me to discuss my request for a refund and to explain how this would have happened. I am still waiting on that call.

It's always disappointing to hear of a guest stay not meeting expectations. The hotel receives multiple unannounced inspections from Brand, Health Department and AAA. Those inspections have found us exceptional clean. We are an older property scheduled for an update and we take our guest feedback serious. We conduct regularly reviews and and with guest feedback to ensure no lapses are occurring and we continue to meet our guest expectations. Each guest issue is handled based on the circumstances of each situation and resolutions are offered to guest based on the conclusions of findings. Our staff is eager to assist and want to know about any issues as soon as possible.

We're glad this guest found us nice and clean, but aren't happy about the pest issue experienced. We will defiantly by kitting our pest provider know of this so they can provide the level of service we and our valued guest expect.

We understand the disappointment when an amenity is closed. We have been renovating our pool area with new paint, new lights and other updates to provide a better guest experience. Having a year around facility, this does mean it closes occasionally apologize for this inconvenience. In regards to room issue, we show no reports of this to the hotel staff. We will review to ensure this wasn't the case.

Based on health department inspections, guest feedback and brand inspections, our rooms are rated very clean and our staff very friendly so we are unsure of this guests experience at hotel. The housekeeping team does a wonderful job based on my short time at the property. In regards to the class of people, the people you saw are hard working construction people. Our hotel is their home away from home as they work on projects that help support and keep our great country going. The hotel doesn't allow partying and our common areas outdoors are open to all guest in accordance with our hotel policies being followed that include not disturbing other guest or loud noise, music of any kind and excessive trash. We should not judge others if their appearance doesn't match ours. Lastly, the shut down comment, we don't understand seeing how the property is well kept, recently renovated and looks good and rated well by majority of our guest. We ask that others come and stay with us to form their own opinion and understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion but opinions aren't always facts.

We apologize for issues you experienced with the bathroom and hope you notified the staff during your stay so they was given an opportunity to resolve this issue sine you mentioned the staff was friendly, they also want to meet and exceed guest expectations by resolving any matters where the hotel fails to meet those expectations.
