Two very nice stays at the D within a month and both earn high marks. Jim, at the front desk, checked us in on the two occasions and he was efficient and a treat to speak with. The person assigned to the breakfast bar was also great - helpful and friendly. Thanks to all.

Honestly the helpful staff were the best part of our stay. We were only there one night (which happened to be the night of the week the restaurant was closed), and were assigned the room right next to the breakfast area. Had the bed been closer to the door I would have asked to be reassigned. The mini fridge, microwave and sink area were all outdated and yellowed by age. Same for the bathroom, with a tub from the 70’s I think. Given the overwhelmingly positive reviews I read online, I was expecting much more from our experience. The hotel is literally 5 miles in any direction from any restaurant or shop, and the microwaveable meals available for purchase at the front desk were so disappointing. I don’t know about the hype…didn’t pan out for us. The staff were friendly and as helpful as possible, a definite plus.
