Comfortable stay in a modern and clean environment. Breakfast was excellent and their staff at breakfast was a great start to the day!
The rooms are recently renovated and very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was very strong. The breakfast was very good and lots of variety
Even though it appeared that the hotel was pretty empty, they put us in a room facing the highway. Lots of road noise! In the future, until the hotel is more than half full, please put guests on the side farthest from the highway.

The hotel is strategically located in the center of town. The ease of navigating to other sites was a plus. Yes, I I will recommend this hotel to others.
Stayed for five nights...fourth day housekeeping did not clean our room....called the desk and asked us to bring our garbage down and said there's no housekeeping in the evening....manager came to provide us with towels and took our garbage out...
It was what I expected, the staff was friendly and courteous and polite. Staffing was appropriate for the hotel. As a former Hotel Night Manger (12years) I was observant of detail. The only negative I witnessed was a dirty elevator corner, which to the average joe would not be noticed, but in my day, dirty corners indicated dirty other areas. In this case everything was clean and well maintained. The location was odd when arriving at night, but even the exterior looked clean and well kept in daylight and the location made more sense in daylight.
Chose Warrenton as there are not a lot of places to stay near Shenandoah. About a 50 minute drive from the park. We got to hotel late and found that many restaurants close by 10p.m. Hotel provided list of eateries with directions. Hotel staff and room were great.
I had stayed at another hotel in Warrenton several times and decided try the Holiday Inn Express. Outdoor pool was right smack in the parking lot. Room was small; staff not so friendly. Lobby breakfast was pleasant and I slept well. About what one would expect, nothing more.
