Was great. Check in and price was wonderful

Like - quiet and swimming pool Dislike - very small bathroom and tiny waste basket

Dining options in area were excellent

I’ll start off by saying this is a really cool property with a lot of history. The main lobby is huge with plenty of seating and a Disney movie playing. The staff were great and the hotel and room was clean. Large breakfast area and food was good. The room is in serious need of an update but it was clean and beds we’re comfortable.

The lack of signage and lighting made it difficult to find the property at night. While the lobby and conference areas were stunning, the rooms and hallways clearly have not been updated or thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. There was mold on the ceiling and some questionable stains on the curtains. It just generally felt dated. I will say that it was conveniently located, the staff was friendly, and for the price, these were acceptable accommodations.

Nice upgraded rooms! Great value!

They have an indoor pool and workout room which is great. The mattresses were old and sunken in the middle. Also the shower curtain didn’t cover the entire rod.

The pool and hot tub (and the staff) were the only good things about this place. Very uncomfortable beds, no microwaves, few linens, terrible electrical outlets, and no breakfast due to kitchen remodeling… This hotel did have private balconies, which were nice, but the whole place was in desperate need of a renovation. Everything was ancient, and I know I overpaid.

This hotel looks very nice as you enter and has a beautiful lobby. They have a lot of the amenities that you’d look for (aside from complementary breakfast) but everything past their lobby is severely outdated. After having to close my rooms patio door, the AC did not cool the room, so I asked for a new one. Once again the patio door was wide open but this room kept cool. The furniture is cracked, the carpet has tears, there’s dust and spiderwebs around the room, and the walls are thin and look to be from the 70s or 80s. The beds were also very uncomfortable and even as a Marine who’s slept in many different conditions, I still had trouble staying asleep. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they do a complete overhaul.

Love the staff and location. But everywhere outside the lobby is in dire need up upkeep. Rooms are always hot and muggy

The property is old and photos are deceiving. Stayed 8/12/22 - 8/14/22. Shower didn't drain and I contacted maint, but no one ever came to fix. Clothes rack in the closet was broken. Lights in bathroom were disgusting. Under bed hasn't been cleaned in a loooong time. Walls are paper thin and property is 50 yards from the train tracks.

Old equipment and HVAC system is broken in our room

The room and building were a bit shabby and dilapidated. There were several areas in the room that were scuffed, torn, tarnished, etc. The lobby was well kept, but the hallway was not.

It was not worth the price. Horrible beds old, sunken in , dirty. Room was dirty, broken or very worn furniture, ice machine was moldy. Would not recommend to anyone.

This hotel is what I’d class as ok. The rooms are ok, the beds are very firm but ok, it’s clean but pretty run down. However it’s a good place to stay for a day or so. I don’t think I’d recommend it for a long stay.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in! The room was full of cobwebs and spiders. There was trash and food under the bed, bathroom floor looked like someone only cleaned the middle of the floor. The mattress was awful to sleep on and the sheets weren’t even the right size for the bed! The air conditioning in the room barely worked it was so hot in the room you couldn’t even sleep. We would have left and went literally anywhere else but everything was booked for the weekend we were in Williamsburg. I went and talked to the lady at the front desk about the room and she just shrugged and said that’s the only room I have and no housekeeping allowed while you are staying due to COVID. That room hadn’t been throughly cleaned for a long time! The whole hotel is run down and way overpriced for what you get. Don’t waste your money or your good nights sleep. Stay literally anywhere else!

Lobby was very nice and the outside area is spacious. However, the rooms were damp and moldy, ripped curtains, broken fridge, terrible mattresses, collapsing ceiling tiles, overall just not nice.

Older building But historic , that’s what makes it unique
