The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms have recently been renovated and are kept in great condition. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming, helpful, and friendly and gave us great directions for how to find our room. My only complaint about my stay is that staff tried to enter my room twice, early in the morning, despite the “do not disturb” sign on my door. They knocked and when I did not respond, they tried to enter - well before my check out time. It disrupted my sleep and frightened me and I hope that in the future, the signs on doors are not ignored. I would stay here again though and did not experience any other issues.

Staff got us early. Great room dinner at the resturant was AMAZING. We had new york strip and rib eye. Great chef and back of house staff!!! Love the peperty and flavored water. Very nice touch Only two things goose poop around the pond. Inability to order mixed drinks from the bar and take to the resturant or ground. Love this place!

Great stay
We travel a lot and loved staying here. The breakfast buffet was delicious and very reasonable . The room was large and loved that we had a sofa to sit on. It was great having room service everyday since a lot of hotels don’t do that anymore. We will definitely stay here again next time.

Check in was fine, wasn't the friendliest, but it was efficient. The room was in a building that was being renovated, frankly, this would have been helpful information before we booked, smelling paint fumes through the building all night wasn't the best. The TV in our room didn't work when we first got there, and it took over an hour for the "Engineer to take a look" who's suggestion was to wiggle the box at the back and turn the tv off and on, despite it being a little more complicated than that. Nice grounds, not so nice area, heavily congested with a ton of traffic.

Beautiful room and very clean. It was nice to be close to the University. Issue #1 the rooms are labeled at being sound proof. The issue is the doors are cut too high. People coming in and out woke us up at all hours. We had to stick a towel under the door and turn the fan on in the bathroom to cover the sound of people in the hallway. That was annoying. #2 we accidentally left a pillow of ours on the bed. We called the staff to alert them as someone we knew could run and pick it up for us. She said the room had not been cleaned and to call back. I called back. I was told to go to a website and file a missing item report, which I did. They never found my pillow which is obsurd. It was a king size pillow in a different pillowcase. It was left there. The customer service wasnt great. It should have been easy for them to grab it and for my family member to pop in a collect it.

So-so hotel
Stay was ok. Staff was very responsive. However, I don’t think our room had been checked before check-in. Tables were dusty and bathroom floor had long dark hair and shower drain had a large wad of wet hair. Might stay again but maybe not if we could find a better alternative.

Beautiful place, adjacent to Regent University, where we were visiting our grandson. Comfortable room, beautiful garden and walking paths. Our only complaint is the restaurant had a limited menu on Saturday, but it wasn’t posted as such. We were seated before being told. We had heard great things about the food there, and were disappointed we didn’t get to try it.
