Beautiful hotel - our junior suite was amazing - lovely big room with a large bathroom and jacuzzi! The staff were friendly. The hotel is spotless. Complementary tea and coffee available 24 hours. Complementary afternoon tea was really nice. Our only issue was that when we went to check out on Friday morning, we were told that the taxi drivers were on strike. We then booked an Uber who let us down but we managed to hail a passing taxi by sheer chance. I just wish that the hotel had informed guests that were leaving on Friday of this strike.
Just finished a 3 night stay and have only high praise for the hotel and staff. The location is right in the center of town, literally within seconds of the Alcázar, the cathedral and dozens of restaurants and shops. We walked to every sight we wanted to see even Triana on the other side of the river. One of our suitcases was lost by the airline and the young man at the front desk did everything he could and was able to retrieve it by the next morning. Also nice was the breakfast buffet and afternoon tea. There also was coffee, tea, soft drinks, water and yogurt available 24 hours. All in all the perfect place to stay in Sevilla!
Fab location, really friendly welcome and staff always ready to help. Good restaurant recommendations too. Rooms reasonable modest but wonderful building, lovely breakfast and relaxing loungers on the roof. Would definitely recommend
We had planned to visit Spain for over 5 years. We started off in Barcelona, to Madrid, to Toledo then we had planned to return to Barcelona to fly out for the US. However, we decided to change the return to Barcelona and decided to go to Sevilla - GREAT SPONTANEOUS CHOICE. Sevilla was the best place to visit in Spain. Moreover, our stay at Hotel Casa 1800 was also the best hotel experience in Spain!! ALL THE STAFF were professional, accommodable, and approachable. Hotel Casa 1800 is unique - and the breakfast was delicious!! Hotel Casa 1800 is central to all of the shops, major exhibits, quant restaurants - you can turn to any side streets and melt into the maze of Sevilla. TRULY RECOMMEND HOTEL CASA 1800!!!!
We checked into Hotel Casa 1800 at around 930pm and were shown to the room. It was small, although the bathroom was a very good size , and it also had quite inadequate wardrobe/shelf/drawer space. I then went to open the curtains to see where we were positioned ... to my utmost surprise and huge distress we had been given an INTERNAL room overlooking a hotel corridor. This would have meant, to maintain our privacy, we would have had to keep our curtains closed for the entire visit and spend the SEVEN days of our stay in a room with no natural light. We had booked through Expedia back in August and had prepaid over £3000 for this accommodation!! BTW the air con was not working either! Nothing could be done that night and next morning we met with the hotel manager. Her reaction was far from apologetic and didn’t seem to think it was a major problem . We were shown to another room which we had no alternative other than to accept . Is this the policy if a ‘ luxury’ hotel to consign a long stay customer to a room that was absolutely not the standard that we had accepted . No attempt to improve our room stay was offered , although she indicated we could have an upgrade for ONE night but would then have to revert to a standard room! Hardly acceptable! The rest of the staff were helpful and pleasant which could not be said about the manager Please be aware that should you choose to stay at this property you need to confirm you have a room with a view
Stayed for 2 nights in October. Hotel is small but really authentic Spanish architecture. Brilliantly located for Alcazar and cathedral. With loads of bars and restaurants on your door step. Room was beautiful. Breakfast and afternoon snack were good quality. Free access to soft drinks and tea and coffee all day. Good service too. Not cheap but you're paying for a beautiful hotel, good service and a great location.
We enjoyed staying in wonderful Seville and the hotel has things to recommend it, but also some misses. Pros: - Great location - Wonderful Jacuzzi suites and nice rooftop pool area - Simple but good breakfast - Quiet rooms - Comfortable beds - Regular rooms are good value Cons: - Rooms and bathrooms are starting to look tired and require refurbishment - Some areas (e.g. room table tops) were not clean enough - Suites are not worth the premium - Rooms are decent value
Beautiful hotel in a great location, just steps from the Cathedral. The streets around it are touristy, but when you step inside, you’re transported to what feels like a Spanish villa. The front desk attendants are friendly and very accommodating , The hotel generously sent us a bottle of champagne as we were celebrating a birthday! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is plentiful with selections for all tastes. Beverages are available 24/7 in both the breakfast room and the rooftop pool area, which offers a gorgeous nighttime view of the cathedral. It became a sort of oasis for us at night, where were could relax and enjoy their complementary beverages or our own wine. We loved it!
We have stayed there for 3 nights. We liked the great central location; afternoon tea ; quiet clean room; and very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. No hesitation recommending this place.
Outstanding location near the Cathedral and Alcazar and the front desk staff was very efficient and helpful. However, we thought our room was way too pricey. We had a ground floor patio room. The small patio was very pleasant and the bathroom was nice. However, our room was very small. There was no desk upon which to put a laptop and only one small chair in the room. There was also one small round table that we had to move out onto the patio so we would have a little more space to move around in the room. Also, the air conditioning in our room barely worked. We have been in Spain for about three weeks and been paying an average of €350 per night for a room. This room was €450 a night and we thought way too expensive.
