Good hotel with nice pool on the roof. I didint find anything really special, it is a good hotel with a good food. Room was clean but a bit disappointed as there was not tea/coffee bar in a room, so no way to make a cup of tea/coffee for yourself or your company.
Now that i have your attention. ;) I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is not far from the center of town and very reasonably priced. Our room was quite large and very clean. A small fridge and safe box was nice. The bathroom was also large by European standards with a bidet , large shower .. all looking like new. Lots of shelf space and a powerful hair drier. The staff were very helpful and friendly and there are a large supply of comfy couches if you must stay to wait to go the airport. *** We stayed in Room 129 on the first floor. On a Friday there was a lot of people outside the window taking loudly. Then quiet . Then more talking and laughing. Then quiet. Then more loud talking. Till 2:30 in the morning. The residents in this town are hyperactive to say the least and If you are one of those North Americans who are usuallly lying on a hotel pillow at 10pm rather than ordering your first course in a local restaurant, you may want to ask for a room away from the street.
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the city center. About 200 meters away is the Metropol Parasol (the honeycomb white structure). You could also walk further to the Alcazar and Giralda, being the main attractions of Seville. Few doors away is a supermarket. A 20 minute walk in another direction is the Basilica la Macarena - which the song Macarena is based upon. Near the basilica, at a gas station is a self-service machine operated laundry which charges 4 Euro for a wash.
A great hotel about 15 min walk out of town. Rooms were clean, decor nice. My room had a bath and shower. Supermarket a couple of doors down and a great local bar right next door so you can enjoy the local nightlife. Food in the hotel was very nice.
I have stayed for 2 nights at Don Paco hotel from 30.12.2016 until 01.01.2017. The hotel has a good location, close to the center, restaurants and shopping area. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are nice. I will book again there if needed.
GOOD Good location, very helpful and friendly staff, wonderful room - spacious and clean. Kettle, tea/coffee, large wardrobes and iron all in the room. Breakfast was ok, would have preferred some hot vegetarian options though. The hotel felt welcoming and it was a really nice place to stay. We hope to return very soon! BAD Not much really, I suppose the parking is a bit pricey and the spaces are very tight. Entrance/exit to the underground garage is very steep - expect to smell clutch on the way out! The rooftop pool isn't heated so was too cold to swim.
This hotel was part of a Christmas Coach trip, the coach company said it was a 4 star hotel, the hotel says it is 3 star, I think it may be two star, sorry not the best hotel I have been to. The reception and common area was Ok although our friend, one evening about 8:30, was in the bar area for pre-dinner drinks and they shut off all the lights and disappeared. The dining room was a little cold and the evening food quite bland and no real sense of Christmas either Christmas eve or day. If you were a little fussy there was not much choice. We did have free wine and a class of cava on Christmas eve which was nice, and free. Breakfast was not bad, continental and some cooked food. The bacon, Spanish, was cooked "well done" which seemed to suit most of us, thanks. Our room was OK size wise although others complained. The problem we had was the drains. When we used the loo, the sink, bath and / or bidet made nice gurgle noises. The same noises happened when other rooms did similar. This appears to allow drain smells into the bathroom which was not pleasant. Found away around this but it was not nice. Location wise, pretty good, in the old town or beside it. We never needed transport to get to any or the city attractions including Flamenco shows, City busses, parks and, Plaza de España to name a few. Sevilla is very nice to visit and we will visit again but another hotel.
This is a pleasant hotel conveniently located in the heart of Seville. Rooms are adequate although views are mainly onto a centre courtyard. The Dining room staff are not particularly accommodating as the dining room closes at 10.00pm and I saw them turn away a guest who had just arrived because he was too late. Not a good start to your stay.
We were here with the Cosmos tour group that was touring Spain and stayed for 2 nights. Our room was small but clean. Bathroom was a bit cramped and we have to be very careful when using the WC. It was located very near to the edge of the sink. The location of this hotel is good, as it is within walking distance to the centre of Seville. The El Corte Inglés department store, shops, eateries are all here. The nearest convenience shop near the hotel is the Supermacados MAS where we bought drinking water and snacks. The famous Parasol landmark, is also within walking distance. Hotel's breakfast buffet was adequate with the usual fare of breads, cereals, bacon, yoghurts, fresh fruits, pastries, coffee and juices. This hotel caters to large tour groups. When we were here, there was another group from Cosmos. Our first night's buffet dinner in the hotel and on the subsequent two days during breakfast were crowded with travellers from the two tour groups.
Only booked for one night room only , very central locatian ,plenty bars and shops as you step out of hotel , rooms very clean but small and small windows , brilliant place at Xmas time close to all plazas and Xmas market close by
