Room clean, bed comfy, plenty of hot water for showers. There is no air conditioning and it was rather warm in our room. They do have fans. Hallways are a little outdated. The location is amazing. Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39 right there outside door of hotel. Parking is $30 but well worth the ease and safety factor. Would stay here again

The location of The Wharf Inn was wonderful. We were able to walk around Fisherman’s Wharf and it was so conveniently located. The staff was also very friendly! The beds weren’t comfortable, the pillows were worn out and didn’t give much support, the shower temperature was only luke warm and fluctuated during the shower, and there was no bathtub (shower stall only).

It was in the perfect location, 711 is right acriss the street, it is so close to all things you'd want to do in San Francisco. It was clean, safe and we reslly enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

Not Recommended

First off, they do not have free parking. Parking was $40 per night. I explained that the hotels.com site indicated free parking, their response was we know, we told hotels.com to fix that. Also, there is no air conditioning in the room, not bad at night, but room gets very hot during the day. The maintenance was terrible, small vent windows missing from occupied rooms.

This was the most expensive hotel on a 7 day trip to California. I stayed here 7 years ago and came back because of the location. The hallways are just as disgusting as they were then, but I think they have done some upgrades to the rooms. We paid for the convenience to Fisherman’s Wharf and the secure parking. Took 3 phone calls to have them turn heat on for the room. Okay stay for one night.

The room was durty, apparently they didn't cleaning under the bed and the sofa for a months.also the corridors was durty, some signs said they under remodeling but was durty , also we find hairs on the bed, they have to offer a better services.

You can't beat the location

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel had great security. The street was pretty busy and sometimes noisy. Note, the rooms do not have central air.

No air conditioning and we were traveling with someone with a lymphatic disease . The room smelled horrible..the baseboard was coming apart in the bathroom. The floor was bubbly and not stable. We had to leave and pay for another night at a different hotel...

We stayed for 2 nights and although the motel was convenient to access popular attractions the motel itself left alot to be desired. Our door had a gap, raised floor boards, old and musty furniture, hard mattress and an expired elevator permit just to name a few. The gates parking was a plus but at times could not come and go freely as you relied on staff to open gate.

It was nothing like the pictures. It was very run down. The room was clean but very run down. Definitely not worth what I paid for, however I realize the location of this inn was on the warf. So that could be why it’s pricy. Parking was only $30 a day. That’s a great price compared to other places. Service from the staff was great. Always professional and willing to help.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but they weren't always present or available. The room was clean, but it was in serious need of updating. The fixtures were old and loose, the bedding was thin and cheap, and the flooring was worn. The light from the hallways blares into the room, and it's impossible to get it dark. Plus, the city sounds come right through the thin walls. The location is great - nice and close to all the attractions at the Pier. But I thought the pricepoint was high for the state of the hotel. No more than 2 stars. Would not stay here again.
