We stayed here during our trip to San Francisco and I’m giving it 3 stars mainly because of the price-to-quality ratio. The room had a bit of a strange smell, and the furniture looked like it might have survived the Wild West era 😅 The floors also seemed like they hadn’t seen water in a while. If you’re not too picky and just need a place to sleep, it might work. But if you love clean, fresh spaces that give you a good feeling the moment you walk in, this might not be your spot.

The room was clean, it was a very simple room just the beds, a table, a chair and a tv. No fridge, no microwave, no hair dryer, no ac nor heater. The light in the room is only a very crappy old lamp. Definitely a fan in the room will be fantastic because it gets very stuffy in the room without any type of ventilation.

It was the dirtiest motel I’ve ever slept in. There was black mold around the bedroom window in the back and it smelled something awful! One of the cleaning ladies I had asked for towels was rude to me. I hated this place. I would have switched hotels had I known it be this horrible. But it being valentines weekend I had no options. Never again would I ever stay here!!

Staff was very courteous and accommodating. My request for an upper floor was no problem and when I asked later for an extra blanket, they responded immediately. Room furniture and bathroom needs some updates, but was very clean and good bed and bedding. Overall, you cannot beat the location and view. It is literally on the beach. Small convenience store next door, and great food truck for Tacos in the parking lot at night. 400 ft from the Muni bus stop. Would book again

Room was good, had a great view of the ocean. Didn't realize how close to the beach the hotel was located. The only downside was for my particular room there was no heater so it became freezing in the middle of the night. Overall, good stay.

Rooms have become smelly and dilapidated. Floors creak and good luck sleeping if you’re not on the top floor. Staff was slow to respond to a chirping, low-battery smoke alarm. Took almost three hours to get maintenance. Family member was severally hurt when she ran into the side of a poorly put together bed frame. Cut shin so deep she ended up in the emergency room. The staff had no manager and were less than helpful when we tried to at least file an incident report at the front desk. Never again. We stay there because of proximity to ocean beach and a wonderful coffee cafe on the corner and how close to Golden Gate Park.
