Terrible!

The motel is old. You can feel the springs in the bed. The room was dirty and broken down. I don't have high standards and it was bad! The motel is incredibly noisy. There was a taco truck in their parking lot outside our room so crowded we could not park. There was booming rap music all night and people yelling. No one in the motel cares about their guests or service.

WE did have a small view of the ocean waves and a frig beds are very comfortable, shower curtain rod was a spring loaded device that had no spring so was marginal to keep up. we had only one chair in the room for two queen beds but other wise functional.

Great location. The dunes are right out your window and short walk to beach. Great price. Don’t expect anything fancy. It’s a very simple room. Much older. Room was very clean though! Highway is kind of dirty looking. I did see homeless quite a bit as well. It’s a noisy area and people coming and going can be loud and our room was right by the stairwell, lots of loud echoing voices. The roof felt stuffy each time we returned it. It met our needs, just a place to sleep and shower. Gone all day every day! Great fir kids and family’s and pets too

This hotel is not fit for any traveler. There appears to be absolutely no management or care for cleanliness, safety or upkeep. The smoke detector had a plastic bag tied over it. The room was filled with gnats and flies. The windows were so filthy could not see out of them. The closet had no hangers. The water pressure in the shower was very low and the water luke warm at best. There were holes in wall. The hotel ice machine was broken and when asked about it there was no plan to ever fix it. There is no coffee machine or microwave. The small refrigerator has no frozen compartment. The manager office was closed on one morning with no way to contact anyone. We were told the hotel is set to be torn down for affordable housing which would explain the lack of any concern for guests.

The room was very clean, which is most important to me. I loved that it was within walking distance to the ocean. The room had a fridge but no microwave or coffee maker, but that was fine.

Needs udated but nice and close to the beach, that is what made everything ok. The parking sucks, they allow a food truck to park in the parking area making finding a spot very annoying. Then you come out and people are leaning on your car even more annoying. The guy was nice rooms are very basic but over all for 1 night it was ok. If i was staying longer i would look into something else.

Nice stay close to the beach and park

The staff was nice easy check in. Right by the beach close walk to a coffee shop. Also right by Golden Gate Park and little store around the corner and a yummy taco truck.

Worked for what we needed. Had an actual bedroom with a door for our son to use. TV didn’t appear to get any channels, and looked like there should have been another remote for it, but we couldn’t find one. No free coffee in the lobby like the sign at check in said there was. The floor in places was uneven like there had been some water damage. But it was clean, safe, and convenient to GG Park and the beach.
