Check in agent at the desk was great. The room was not in good shape, though. It was clean, but it had a broken TV (no sound), broken phone, and broken fixtures in the bathroom. When I went to the front desk to report the issues, the door to the check in area was locked and no one was there. I decided to just get on with my weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Castle Inn from the efficient check in and hassle free check out. The room was clean and spacious. The location is also close to restaurants, bars and grocery market. I would stay there again and recommend it. Parking is also included and a bonus.

We had a great time! The room itself was nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The location is amazing! It’s in the middle of the vibrant neighborhood of Russian Hill. We could walk to everything! Highly recommend.
