This place is a joke. Apparently It’s smoke free and I was not aware when I went outside my room to smoke. The owner came up very rude and told me I had to go down to the street . Ok no problem even tho there was no where stating that. He then charged me $150 and said I smoked in the room. First off I don’t even smoke in my house cause that is disgusting I also had my 2 year old niece and 14 year old son with me so I would not smoke in a room with them. When I called to question this charge they hung up on me.
Unlike my first stay here, things couldn’t have been worse. The television was not hooked up to any kind of transmitter, so it was nothing more than decor. I was totally unable to access the in-house WiFi; fortunately I had an Ethernet cable with me to use with the wall socket. The bathroom was devoid of any toiletries, and the tub was less than clean. Finally, with no explanation offered, they withheld my $150 deposit, and despite numerous attempts on my part, via messaging on this site, direct email and snail-mail, and telephone calls, I have never received any explanation. Never, ever again!!!
A classic case of getting what you pay for - It's a no frills motel, with a bit more security than would necessarily be expected, except for the location (the Tenderloin). The bathroom was a little less than perfect, but the bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was nicely sized for the price, and had it had a minibar to store things cold, it would have been absolutely perfect. I would strongly consider returning in the future unless I can find something comparably priced with a few more amenities.
Property was pretty much close to everything... but its really dirty the tub has some discolorations.
I couldn't even accept the reservation because the security deposit needed to be on acredit card and i have a debit card. My $180.00 was not refunded and i want to file a c omplaint and get mymy $180.00 back
Wonderful location, nice rooms at a reasonable price, and staff /management are super, and most accommodating
This hotel is awesome. The room is all redone and beautiful. The bed is nice and comfortable.
The room inside is nice and recently renovated but the outside of hotel/ area is shady.
It was clean, the shower was really nice and it had everything I needed
Very nice little hotel. Much nicer than you might expect being in the tenderloin. A great budget option for SF with parking included.
Great staff but a lot of inconveniences: no refrigerator, no microwave, wi-fi signal is poor, internet speed is extremely low. I'm not planning to book it again in the future.
Was a reasonable hotel. No real complaints. A good location for everywhere I needed to be.
Amazing location, big room, l love the bathroom and bed so good free parking
I was in SF for President's Day Weekend. I booked this room because it was fairly priced and near many attractions. The room came with 2 double beds but I travelled alone. I've been to SF numerous times and I'm familiar that the neighborhood this hotel is located in (Tenderloin), is very gritty to say the least. There are many homeless and drug addicts loitering nearby but that doesn't bother me. I'm built tough. Lol. The room itself was nicer than I expected. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well. I just needed a place to sleep and shower and was glad I chose this place. There is free parking on a first come, first serve basis. The Wi-Fi is decent, check-in was quick and I felt safe. I would stay here again but only recommend it to those who don't mind walking passed the homeless, drug addicts and mentally unstable people nearby. I did tons of walking and had to pass many areas with these types of people but it didn't bother me. As long as you keep to yourself, I think you should be fine. Just to be clear, they don't hang out in the hotel property - they're across the street or passby the sidewalk.
Room was comfortable, staff was nice, and location is convenient. Some will say the area is sketchy but it really is not.
The motel is located in a strange neighborhood, which you have to beware of. The Hotel-Staff told us not to leave the motel after sundown. The wifi was bad and the staff only adviced us to call the provider! Nearby union square, good located to visit the whole city. Really nice, tidy, spacious and comfortable room!
We stay 12 nights this hotel.... clean but very small rooms, bathroom ok! needs more security around the hotel lots of broken car windows every day here!
They didn't have my reservation. The owners were not very hospitable. The outside was dirty and not very nice. The inside of the room was clean and well kept though

Were sorry for the issues you had during your check in. We do have our deposit requirements on our policies section on all of our sites. It doesn't matter if its a credit card or debit card, as long as the card has a name that matches an ID of the guest that is checking in.

Mr. Anoonymous I really appreciate you giving me the opportunity to clear the air. I think I remember who you are. First of all thank you for choosing our hotel for your lodging needs. I have a lot of personal experience about smoking. I started smoking when I was 15 and continued till I was 35. There is a 8.5" X 11" sign posted at the window where you checked in plain english that explains that not only can you not smoke in the room or patio, but you cannot smoke anywhere on the grounds of the hotel. that you can only smoke on the sidewalk and you would be surprised how many people are unwilling to do that also at each door there are also along with the room number a no smoking logo. Thank You
