They found the room type I wanted, called me up proactively to let me know my room was ready very early, and then remembered me and my room number the whole week. Marjorie? was amazing.

Excellent service from the door men to the concierge. Everyone was delightful and very helpful. Made our stay at the Ritz Carlton a very memorable experience!!!

Love the recent renovation. The beds are very comfortable. Great service, as one would expect.

The Ritz Carlton in San Francisco is the most beautiful hotel in the city. It is close to Chinatown, and more importantly, you feel safe and secure in that big, gorgeous building that used to be a bank. We would definitely return there and our visit was spectacular.

Amenitis were not provided sufficienty, even we asked a few times to Hosekeeping. Provided coffee maker was not operational even we followed the instruction. We could not drink coffee at all. Bath tub was not cleaned when we checked in.

The hotel met all my expectations. Staff was extremely courteous. They replaced the room's mini expresso machine minutes after I called.

The Ritz-Carlton San Francisco is well located near Union Square and offers 5 star accommodations at a fair price compared to other 5 star hotels. We just went for a quick getaway and the room was small, but clean and well appointed.

Hotel location was perfect, Front desk staff was very very helpful, checking was a breeze. My husband had a great time with the bar staff.

Great hotel. It's not a typical Ritz, not quite as luxurious as a typical Ritz but still great. My only complaint is the food at the bar. Very average and unfortunately for me I got food poisoning from the meal......Hotel took the charges off immediately, just not the best way to end a great trip. Location is great, so close to North Beach and to Union Square. We walked everywhere.

Great location. The staff was very attentive and knowledgable. The room was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!

I love this hotel. Staff is terrific, always trying to accommodate. My only complaint is the rooms took awhile to clean. We'd come back and the room was still messy at 3:00pm. I did call about this and they said that in the future, I should ask for an early cleaning. The only other hiccup was the last evening there, I was hungry and ate a bite at the bar. A few hours later, I had food poisoning. I called later that morning and they immediately took the charges off my bill and checked their kitchen to remove any ingredients that may have been the cause. It can happen anywhere, just a shame it happened at the Ritz. Having said that, I'd still go back and stay here on my next visit. The location is so awesome, central to everything. The staff is terrific and always trying to please........

Stayed here for two nights in July. It was super convenient to the trolleys, shopping and the wharf. Going to other sites requires a car. Valet parking is really expensive (>$70 after tax). Room was very nice, really good size especially for SF.

Staying in San Francisco can be expensive anyway so we splurged on the Ritz. Staff was incredible but the room did leave something to be desired (like a major renovation to update carpets and wall paper).

It is lucky to have the discount price to stay at this luxury hotel. Everything is great except the poor ventilation in the room. The smelt is not so good.

Excellent stay. Perfect Attention to detail and guest requests

The SF Ritz is in a beautiful white building in a great location. Easy to get to Union Square, ride the cable car or get to restaurants. The service was excellent - attentive, thoughtful and classy. We upgraded to their Club level on the 8th floor and it was well worth it! The abundance of free food was great for my kids.

We arrived late to the hotel and no one was waiting at the front desk at check-in - not like other RCs I have stayed in where people seem to be falling over themselves to help you out. It meets expectations that have come to be associated with the Ritz such as quiet, comfortable rooms with luxurious bedding, but the staff was not as exceptional as the other RCs where I have stayed. I would definitely go back though. The Ritz brand has set the standard for excellence in the hotel business and no one else really seems to be matching that right now.

The front desk staff treated us like 2nd class citizens since we booked our hotel through [...].

Understated elegance. Excellent service. Amenities average.

Few days in San Francisco after a cruise. The hotel room was reasonably priced, but the facilities are outdated and the charge for the services out of proportion. They charged $ 75 per day to park my rental car, and $ 100 for a mediocre brekfast for 3. Likely I will not consider this alternative in the future
