Enjoyed our stay very much. It's an experience staying here. Everyone from the front staff to the restaurant staff were amazing. The only bad thing to say about the room is that I didn't like the rug in the bedroom. That's it! Other than that it's a cozy and center to everything around SF. If taking your car, Valet with hotel ($40 per day and this is cheap. Believe me) and Uber or take train. Parking rates are crazy!!!!

Not a great place pretty run down and very old and expensive but then again what's not expensive in SF. I'd look someplace else.

Totally not what I expected. Room is extremely small and no closets nor a place to store your bags.

Our (my sister & I) stay at the Nob Hill Hotel was quite nice, our room was located downstairs it had a living room area as well as an outside patio area provided with a small table and two chairs for sitting. The restroom in our room had a Jacuzzi tub that worked amazingly according to my sis, my sister experienced one small problem when attempting to drain the tub she found that the knob was broken, however staff was extremely helpful in promptly fixing the drain. We utilized valet parking which was an additional $40.00 charge that was well worth not having to worry about parking. Everything was pretty much in walking distance such as bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and the Regency Ballroom which we attended for a concert, it had it all. We would most definitely recommend The Nob Hill Hotel and hope to plan another trip soon.

Fitness Center is pathetic. All machines need work. All should be replaced. Staff is nice. Breakfast was ok. Bad tasting coffee.

There was nothing awful about the hotel - but nothing really made it that welcoming or comfortable. The hotel is located in Nob Hill, about a two block walk to Polk Street, a "cool" area with some good restaurants and bars. The walk to Union Square is a bit longer. The hotel is on the very edge of the Tenderloin neighborhood, which does not have the best reputation in terms of safety. The hotel is located on a large hill - so expect that getting back to your room will take some hiking. The rooms are **fine** - beds comfortable, nice TV, clean bathroom. However, the lack of A/C sours the experience during the summertime, especially in rooms facing a courtyard with no breeze. I kept the window open in my room, for example, and felt very little breeze, but sacrificed my privacy to get just that little bit to cool the room down. It was in the 60s-70s outside (I stayed there in early September 2016). My minifridge was broken, and the bathroom felt a bit cramped (shower only; no tub). There was no safe in the room. Pros: - Clean, functional - Rooms are very quiet / walls are thick - TV w/cable - Free internet - A good place to crash for not that much money - The area is nicer than you would expect, as long as you avoid the Tenderloin - Good Italian restaurant in the building - An elevator (since you'll be exhausted from walking anywhere) Cons: - No air conditioning - Subpar room quality control (my minifridge was broken) - Outdated upholstery/carpets that could use some cleaning

It's SF. Parking is never good. The hotel has valet parking and they were quick to get the car when needed. The room was nice. Breakfast was pretty plain no eggs or meats only cereal, toast, bagels, mini muffins and yogurt. Nice patio in the 6th floor that no one knew about so we got to sit up there and relax.

Everything about the hotel and room was fine. The decor is old school, and a little dingy, but has character. My main complaint is that when I had flight problems, out of my control, such that I got diverted and could not make it to SF until the following day, they refused to give any type of refund for the night that I missed. I travel a lot for business, and this has happened to me twice before in the case of snowstorms causing flights to be cancelled. In previous situations I've found hotels to be really accommodating and understanding when the situation is completely out of my control *and* I called them immediately to let them know I wouldn't be able to make it on time. This seem short sighted and not a very good customer service policy.

It is a great older hotel with charm and the staff was perfect.

If a quaint hotel with the basics is all you need - bed, clean towels, free wifi, free continental breakfast, then this is definitely the place for you! I was simply in need of a place to rest my head as I was out and about all day so this hotel suited my needs perfectly. Located in a great neighborhood (Nob Hill) too! The only caveat - tiny room, just large enough to fit a double bed and a dresser. Ideal for someone not spending extensive time in hotel itself but rather out exploring.

I loved our stay in room 602. Everything was really uniqe about this place. It has it's own charm and character. We felt like on honeymoon. If you value this things this place is right for you. Big King size bed , very clean and very comfortable. Jacuzzi in room and nice bathroom with shower. I will stay at this place next time I'll visit San Francisco.

My sister and I spent the weekend here. The hotel staff are wonderful and the lobby decor is amazing. The rooms were small but charming and clean. You can easily walk to restaurants, shops and the streetcar. The nearby indian restaurant that the recommended was outstanding. Easy cab ride to other neighborhoods.I would absolutely return.

Spent as night at this hotel for business. The lobby was smelly when I arrived and the room was tiny. But decent otherwise. I didn't dare to try the restaurant downstairs but looked nice.

The hotel is in a decent location. While there are not many hotels at this price range in the city center, skip this one. The room was disgusting. stained dirty carpet, banged-up walls with holes in them. Exposed insulation on pipes. I am not at all picky, but I did not like walking around in the room barefoot. The refrigeration was so noisy I had to unplug it. The service was mixed. I had a really nice guy check me in, but everybody else was surly and unhelpful. When I called down to get my car from valet parking the 1st morning nobody at the reception desk answered and I had to walk downstairs and fine someone to help me. The 2nd morning, I had to wait more than 40 minutes for my car to be brought around and then had the valet standing there expectantly waiting for a tip. Don't stay here.

The hotel did not meet my expectations. They had my reservation messed up. They clam to have spa baths and they do not. The flat screen tv is very old. Staff didn't speak clear english. The valet parking is not included. You have to wait 30-40 mins for you car when your ready to leave. We will not be visiting here again.

Very comfortable room and a nice continental in the morning. Staff was awesome and friendly. The valet service was slow.

Arrived late at night, so clerk was asleep and could not get in. Had to call and wake him up, but it took some time. Overall, stay was ok hotel was nice & affordable.

Cute little old hotel and well maintained. Great location and easy to move around SFO. Friendly

Me and my girlfriend got our room upgraded to a suite. it had beautiful views and very comfortable. The service was fairly helpful in most areas. It wasn't the closests location but wasn't far from night life.

the staff members were very helpful and kind. if i needed directions, or a cab, or had any question about the hotel or the area at all, they did their utmost to assist me. the hotel is very pretty, and the restaurant there has mighty tasty food. I was very happy with my stay and with the price of the hotel - I still remember it fondly, and it's been a year since I was there.
