Area nearby was sketchy, facilities seemed very run down, front desk resource tried to be helpful but indicated that they had called Expedia several weeks prior “due to a leak” in my room and I no longer had a reservation, and that Expedia should have let me know; Expedia called to confirm that I wasn’t being charged and I booked my own room from there

We paid for 2 king beds - instead we were given 2 twin beds and a roll-in. The hotel gave us a 15% discount on 1 of our 2 night stays rather than adjusting the charges for the lesser room rate. Staff shrugged it off and said we could cancel instead - with our other 2 rooms fine, we were stuck. Area is full of homeless but we didnt feel unsafe traveling as a group of 10. Even our taxi driver warned us during dropoff that we had picked a bad area to stay. Hotel rooms were nicer than expected based on outward appearance. Rooms were clean and a good size. Showers had good pressure and hot water. Hotel disnt use wash clothes and instead offered us hand towels. Shampoo and body wash was not in room but was given to us at the front desk when we asked for more towels. A couple of nice coffee shops and eateries in the immediate area. Jane's was a good breakfast stop and just 1-block away. Our room was on the street side, 3rd floor and homeless were out shouting and playing music into the late hours of the night. We walked to Lombard street, Fishermans Wharf and Ghirardelli - a very tough walk up hills. We rode the trolley back and walked about 7 blocks from the nearest stop tonthe hotel. Overall, I wouldn't plan to stay here again. Mainly due to the area... but also due to the ripoff. You got us once, but there wont be a 2nd time. Rather, head a bit closer to union square.

Everything was great during our stay, other than when you park down below, you cannot access the elevator until you've obtained your room key (so you can't really unload until after you check in), not a huge issue, just wish I knew ahead of time.

Bonne situation à 10 minutes d'Union Square, de Market street et de Civic center pour les commerces et le metro. Hélas quartier rempli de SDF et la nuit c'est dangereux de sortir de l'hôtel. Enfin il y a de nombreux insectes dans la chambre et c'est cher par rapport à la vue et l'état du logement. Dommage

Pour voyageur avisé et n'ayant pas le coeur sensible. L'hôtel est correct dans la mesure où vos attentes sont très peu élevées. C'est surtout le quartier le problème, de l’itinérance qui peut troubler. La grosse misère mais nous ne nous sommes pas senti en danger. Dans la mesure où vous êtes entré avant le coucher du soleil, ça peut aller. Pour moins de 500us pour 4 nuits, ça vaut la peine d'y penser.

I decided to book , because the reviews were saying that was a good property. I don’t if I got a terrible room, but my experience was horrible. Cons: 1- Uncomfortable beds. The worst bed, I think the floor it’s was more comfortable. 2- The area around the property has a lot homeless people ( That it’s not the issue ), you can hear the gunfire, people fighting outside. I stay for two days, one of the days it’s was 4 pm and a man was hitting the hotel walls with a metal bar and fighting. Not a safe place. 3- The staff doesn’t care, they are rude. Pros : 1- Has parking 2- You need the key to go up in the elevator ( that it’s a must since the location it’s a dangerous place. 3- it’s close to a lot places. I would not recommend. I have been in hotels that were cheap than this one , with better quality. I wish I had pay more and stay in some place else.
