This is the best hotel in Rockingham so far.the staff are friendly and the rooms are outstanding.the property is very nice.very close to shopping and dining.it is in my opinion a very comfortable place to stay.
I work on the road a lot and have to stay at numerous hotels. I must say, that the Holiday Inn in Rockingham , North Carolina was one of the most comfortable places I’ve stayed in, for quite a while. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. The pillows were soft but a little bit too soft. The room and the bathroom is very clean. They had a nice breakfast with a variety of foods that were free. I will be staying there again.
After a 14 hour drive, the grand kids swam for a few hours (the pool could have been cleaner). Check in was quick, friendly and professional staff. The room was above the registration desk. A queen suite. Very clean and spacious. The breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. Fresh food, variety good, staff excellent.
Stayed one night on way to Myrtle Beach. Very nice desk staff both at check in and check out. Hotel was clean as was the room. Lady working the breakfast area was very efficient, kept it clean and stocked. We were very pleased with our stay here!
We were very pleased with the cleanliness of this Holiday Inn, as well as the friendly staff. The check-in process was smooth & pleasant. Our room (queen suite) was stellar - very clean & very comfortable. The beds & pillows were perfect, linens were soft. The bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was good & plentiful. Staff kept the breakfast bar well stocked. My only complaint is the noise. Apparently the folks beside us had some rowdy teenagers who decided 1:00 am was a good time to wrestle & hit the wall. We called the front desk 4 times but did not get an answer. Finally, I knocked firmly on the wall. I suppose they got the hint, because the noise stopped. We'll definitely stay here again when in the area.
First time staying here with our crew of 6. Stayed in a double suite. Room has great set up. We had an obnoxious guest below us. We are the kind of family who have raised our children to be mindful of time and where we are. Especially being above other guests. Our kids vacation frequently and know the type of respect we show others. We have seen it's the adults that need a clue to show that to others. We had to have our bathroom cleaned. Shamira (I hope I didn't misspell) was such a professional, friendly and helpful employee. She immediately came upstairs to clean the tub. It was near 1030 at night. Our youngest ones were walking not running in our room getting there bags and stuff in order. The person below us bangs on the ceiling. Are you kidding me? We were not inconsiderate in any way. We are 6 people getting our things prepped in the room. There will be movement and some noise happening. No yelling. No jumping. Nada. I was not happy. I told management immediately. We even close the doors gently. Anyway. Brenda was great also! Our room needed to be moved. They put us in a handicapped room because of availability it was not working for us. So housekeeping cleaned the new room and we moved all our stuff. Lol. Moving the luggage and things of 6 people was a work out! The ladies were so friendly and helpful. We accidentally left an item in the old room which housecleaning staff made sure they kept safe for us. That's another plus for us. Honest character! The breakfast attendant was a doll also. Such a sweet lady. Breakfast...was disappointing. No gluten-free options at all. Not even Cheerios for our littlest ones. I'm a content person for the most part, but I have to be honest and say it's the only part of our stay that has been disappointing. Usually we have fresh cut fruit, and some other breakfast cereals that are little more gluten friendly. But...customer service was wonderful. We ate what we could. It's a great hotel. The value is there. Staff was fab. Maybe corporate will pay attention and offer different foods in the future. We will stay again for sure when the need arises.
We stayed four nights on business. Had a great room a suite with everything we needed. Had a keurig coffee maker in our room which was nice. Breakfast was really tasty. Employees were nice. Housekeeper was good. The only problem was the noise made by our fellow guests letting the door slam shut. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will stay again if in town.
This was one of the nicest looking hotel rooms I've stayed in for the price. The place was spotless and the service was excellent, even the standard breakfast was good. The reason it gets an average rating is my AC was not working, and it was hot, and I tossed and turned all night. My advice is to check your unit before you leave. When I reported this at checkout, they were very apologetic and told me fix it immediately.
Hotel is located on a beautifully wooded property, yet still close to a humongous Walmart where you can get everything you need for your trip. The people in the are are so nice too, a refreshing and welcoming change from living in NJ. There is an outdoor pool and table and chairs out back. Hotel staff are excellent. Bathrooms are new fresh and very clean. Beds are super comfortable. I highly recommended!
This is a great location with a wonderful staff. Very clean rooms and I love the train you can hear from the room. If you are a light sleeper you might want to ask which rooms are away from the lovely soothing train sounds, YOUR LOSS, LOL!!! The breakfast is the usual fare.
