I would highly recommend a short stay in this hotel if you are looking for a convenient option in Playa. I stayed in this hotel in August 2017 for one night at the beginning of a group tour (double room), and two nights at the end of a group tour (single room). Both times the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The A/C and television worked in the room, but the WiFi only worked in common areas, like the lobby and pool. The hotel is conveniently located right in the middle of the action of 5th Avenue--it was a short and easy walk to the ADO bus station for easy connections to the airport. Based on the other reviews here, I was a bit worried about the noise. It was definitely loud--the first night of my stay my room was literally directly over a bar--but the music and noise seemed to die down by 12AM each night of my stay, including the weekend nights (Friday and Saturday), so it wasn't too big of an inconvenience.

Hotel location is great...right on 5th Avenue. Close to bars and restuarants. The beach is a 5 minute walk. Rooms were clean. Nice pool area. Staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Efrain and Ricardo.

Excellent location. Right on the doorstep of the main avenue with lots of shops, restaurants etc. The rooms are a good size. Also about a 5 minute walk from the beach. The pool area is a bit small, not many sunloungers around it.

Right in the middle of PDC this hotel is noisy at night - as expected. Noise from bars carried on til early hours so not ideal for families with small children. The hotel was fantastic though - clean and comfortable, lovely little rooftop pool for a quick dip. Lots of restaurants and bars/coffee places on your doorstep. Recommended as a base to explore.

We stayed here 3 nights this summer - once at the start of our tour, then two nights at the end. Our first night was fine. We had a large room with 2 double beds and everything worked! Upon our return we were given a smaller room with one double bed and a pull out dilapidated single camp bed. In addition the air con didn't work and it took a while to get it fixed. So... average hotel, depending on which room you get but good location.

Certainly this was very handy to all shops, cafes, bars ets but can be very noisy at night, earplugs are useful. Room was a good size, clean but not alot of water pressure in the shower. Staff were helpful and very pleasant. The pool is great to cool off and relax. Coffee shop downstairs is handy for a snack.

Try and get a room as far away from the main street as possible.... its very noisey till early hours of the morning. The coffee shop down stairs is by far the best coffee I found in town. Rooms are clean beds are very hard and staff helpful.

Bad experience got moved 3 times for things not working. Spent 6 hours without water Front desk guys was super cool though. Management should of done the right thing and discounted our stay . karma is out there

There were many mosquitoes in the room when we arrived. Each bed had a broken spring. The shower head needs to be cleaned badly (buildup causing water to spray in all directions). There was not a lot that was great about the place, but the location was very good and the staff was very nice and helpful.

I stayed here for two nights as part of a G Adventures Tour. The hotel has the most fabulous location however with the location comes lots of noise. A couple of people in our group requested to move rooms as they had a very disturbed sleep due to the noise from the nightclubs nearby. Staff happily arranged another room for them. My room was spacious and clean with a balcony and view over to Agenda 5.
