The top two things about this resort are the staff friendliness and the beautiful setting. The two things that need improvement are the facility condition and the food. The buildings are dated and need more than the love that the staff give it. The property, other than the beach, needs actual investment as it is aging. The food was disappointing. Breakfast was good and some of the snack stations were ok but lunch and especially the dinners were lacking for a property that puts culinary excellence as a priority on their mission statement. The absolute worst part, and a detractor for re-booking is the upselling. Upselling on memberships, while not outright pushy, was subtly thrown in your face for everything. The fact that the restaurants sit half empty at dinner hour and they make you wait 30 to 40 minutes for a seat because you are not a member is quite ridiculous. Offering get spa discounts or freebies if you sit through the membership sales pitch but then hearing the spa staff offering better deals on the beach for no sales pitch seemed odd as there didn't seem to be any consistency in want could or should be offered. Overall, if you want a quiet, walkable, beautiful grounds and beach and don't really care about dinners or how long you have to wait for a table you should be fine.

Do not travel here it is not safe specially for women in this hotel. They also lie about the prices and the taxi drivers make up their own prices and they will make a scene. The reception is in the front is really rude and does not care about any complaints that were made to not handle them on time. Also, the pool and the room was super dirty. And they do not clean the rooms. The mini bar is only gonna get stocked if you call them and follow through at least 3 to 4 times.

This is a honeymoon resort, so take that in mind if you are a solo traveler! So many people are there for either their honeymoon or anniversary. However; the staff will make sure you don’t feel left out. 😌 In the entertainment crew, Launa and Benjamin are amazing! I would come back again just to chill with them. They are so LIT! Miss ya’ll already! ❤️

Beautiful resort, Great food, suites were very spacious and clean. We had a swim up ocean front room, perfect hotel for our anniversary. Great views and it felt like a lovely oasis of luxury. Golf buggies ferry you from one side of the resort to the other. It is walkable but you'll sweat a lot. Food and drink, Great choices all over the resort. Buffet for breakfast and dinner was excellent. On the nights we didn’t feel like venturing out, room service did us very proud. One big recommendation is to take mozzie repellent, they were really bad on our stay Sept 2025.

The whole resort was amazing overall—It was beyond our expectations! We were in room 6210 from Sept 26th- October 3rd. The room was Massive & super clean, Luiza was great when we asked her for room cleaning. We never felt sketched out or felt like we had to keep looking back at anybody Every single person that worked at the resort were friendly and had smiles on their faces. Ricardo R. Was one of our regular server at the restaurants we went to and he was really helpful, very nice & took care of us very well! I wish I memorized everybody’s names because they were all great. I’ve already recommended this resort to people I know! They won’t disappoint!

The swim-up pools on the balconies were amazing!! The restaurants had great food - the buffet was themed each night which we didn't figure out till closer to the end of our stay - the restaurants had weird schedules and weren't open each night and there was no calendar for this in the app or website either so a couple of the nights we had to wander around to find food - not cool. We discovered there is 24/7 Room Service with a really great menu that you can order directly from the app/website using your smart phone. From the time of order to a knock on the door was less than 15min - FANTASTIC!! The map we received at check-in was also wrong - the guacamayas bar was listed as being on the Seaside Suites and it was moved to the Palms side. Were told the resort was moving some things around - which we get as its low season but either update the map or don't give one out. The entertainment was amazing, lots of little activities each night to take in - from live singing in the plaza, fire show on the beach or reggae band at the outdoor bar, such fun! The events app/webpage left lots to be desired, many events were not listed and we didn't figure this out till the last night there when we were walking around. There was supposed to be an acrobatics show one night in the sports bar and no-one showed up, asked the staff and was told that's tomorrow - went back the next night and nothing either. Overall, I'd stay here again

The food was consistently cold, especially at the buffet. No variety either, same food everyday. The customer service is poor. This is NOT a 5-star resort. They do not communicate properly and will blame you for their short comings. The showers flood the bathroom as well as the front door. The renovations are patchwork and you can see the inconsistencies in the design. The phones do not work in the rooms. Front desk staff is rude and are dishonest. Didn’t not provide the return shuttle as stated in the package. When bringing up the complaints, the response is basically “oh well.” Will never stay here again and will not recommend anyone to stay here.
