Property was great but only complaint is booked for two beds and only had one.
I noticed some very minor maintenice issues. A junction box near the ceiling of our room was not covered. Some cracked and lose drop ceiling in the hallway. Other then that the place was sparkling clean, beds were extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent, and the morning breakfast was wonderful with so many hot and cold options. Very nice showers with plenty of hot water. Hotels are notorious for conservitive water pressure, this shower had better then most. My inlaws were able to get a handicapped room with no trouble at check in. We WILL be staying again.
Evidently undergoing a complete remodel which is not reflected in pictures nor price. Check-in and breakfast are in a hallway. Another hallway is curtained off due to construction. Signage for hotel is non-existent. Front door is not accessible. Must use a side door with duct tape over the auto-lock mechanism. Room smells overwhelmingly of cologne. No apologies from check-in staff for disarray or lack of transparency online.
Nice hotel comfortable bed. Staff was wonderful.breakfast was good
When I first walked in the front desk agent treat me like I was his friend saying "hey was up", and it was my first time in that hotel. Then no even one informed me about what the hotel has to offer. Then the entire first floor had the worst smoke smell ever. A soon I walked in my room everything was ok until I went to take a shower and noticed that the tub didn't drain properly and hold all the water, the 2 shower curtains had black mildew all over... Looks like it wasn't change in years. I was expecting much more from a Marriot brand hotel and unfurtunely was the worst experience I ever had. Sad to say but the truth.
Excellent hotel with with great location and amazing staff, clean rooms, very accessible from everywhere.
On 11/22/16, I stayed at the hotel while visiting the military base. I turned on the shower, only to find the knob broken and stuck on extreme hot. However, not before I stepped into the extremely hot water. I called the front desk to speak with Carlos, who was very unprofessional. Instead of offering an apology and a solution for the problem, he simply said, "I'll pass it on to maintenance." When I asked, when the problem would be resolved, he replied, "Like I said, I'll notify maintenance and hung up the phone." I was forced to go to the front desk and actually get maintenance. The only positive thing that came out of this was the repair, which was corrected by Eli (Maintenance worker) I will never stay at this hotel again. It's not worth the cost, as the decor is dated and some staff unprofessional.

This hotel was very dirty. There was sand scattered on the lobby floor, trash overflowing from the garbage cans, roaches on the walls, and the hotel overall was in desperate need of updating. The lady at the front desk was flirting with a man until her shift was over, which was unprofessional to us checking in. We ended up finding another place to stay that night and they promised to refund our purchase, which they did not. I would not recommend.
This was a great hotel but the telephone didn't work nor the remote. I was told if I had not rsvp through a third party, I would have been given a discount for the problems. Doesn't seem fair.
We go there every Xmas and thanksgiving with our dog and they are always so nice, it's affordable, breakfast is very correct and it's very convenient.
Hotel was nice other than the bathroom did not appear to be cleaned very well ( floor and tub) otherwise wonderful stag and nice breakfast!!
Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean room. My only problem was that the tub drained very slowly (probably has hair stopping it up). By the time the shower ended you were ankle deep in water. I told the desk attendant about the problem, but the second night the same issue existed. Other than that it was a good place to stay. We were in Hopewell for my father's funeral.I had stayed at this location a few years ago and had a good experience. I will use them again on family visits to the area.
We were in town for one night to attend our son's Army officer training graduation at Ft. Lee. The locations was perfect - about 10 minutes from the base. The hotel was very clean, staff was excellent and the breakfast was good. We would stay here in the future if our son is ever again assigned to Ft. Lee.
The staff and desk personell were very cooperative and helpful.
Very good value: comfortable, clean, good continental breakfast, with ample room for breakfasters. Highly recommended.
This is an updated Fairfield Inn, located just a few minutes away from the gate to Fort Lee. Very convenient for those doing business on post.
Overall good choice. Stayed there for a long weekend and everything was nice. Even though the hotel was going through renovations the staff and crew where very courteous.
