The Digital Key was non operational and required returning to the main desk on the 1st floor. I was disappointed not being able to utilize this feature.

Frustrating to show up at the hotel with a confirmation number to be told the 2 queen room we had reserved wasn’t available, but we could have a king room. When there are 4 people in our family, that doesn’t work well. Overall, hotel was fair but the staff left a lot to be desired.
Great, quiet, uncomplicated stay. The only slight hiccup was that I got to breakfast on the later side (9:30) and there wasn’t much left to choose from. Got enough to eat for sure…it just wasn’t what I would have chosen.
I have stayed here before only for one night but this time I stayed for two nights and I was out all they and no one came to do the room no clean towels very disappointed this time but this time they put me in in different floor don’t know if that was the problem. Also the other times was only one night it may be normal thing at this hotel . Very disappointed this time.

Attended a baseball tournament in the area. Location was good. Friendly staff and everything clean and comfortable.
I feel that charging a daily fee for internet is ridiculous. The housekeeping staff continuously knocked on our door,and actually entered it the first(and earliest) time,without being told it was ok to enter. When we opened the door the second time and attempted to explain that we had a late check out and that’s why the do not disturb sign was on the door,she stated that she didn’t know what the sign meant. Lastly the shower in our bathroom wasn’t draining properly. Overall less than a stellar experience which was disappointing as our family doesn’t get many opportunities to travel.
The staff was amazing and super friendly! There rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and clean. I will definitely be staying here again when traveling to Richmond, VA.
Stayed 8 days. Great room cleanliness. Free breakfasts a big plus! (And...how about those warm cookies every afternoon!!)
I have stayed at many Hampton facilities. I have stayed at this location many times. I returned to new staff and the few I encountered were fine. I did expect one or two staff to say good morning, nod, or be a little more pleasant as a guest. My biggest surprise was to see a previous friendly and professional lady return to the reception counter. I will reserve again.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I'm sad to hear that you were disappointed in your 2 night stay with us. Due to Covid-19, we have changed many things. One of these is how we do our housekeeping service. Our housekeeper are only cleaning occupied rooms every 4 days per request of the guest. This is to limit any possible exposure for both the guests and our team. We're asking guest to set any trash outside their doors as well as dirty towels. We leave a fresh bag of clean towels for the guests. I understand how frustrating this can be and I sincerely apologize that this was not communicated to you. We hope you choose to stay with us in your future visits and give us the chance to make it right.
