Comfortable beds and pillows. I liked the indigenous designs in each room and throughout the hotel. Meals in the restaurant were tasty and it was nice that you received a 20% discovered on breakfast.

Being Pet friendly is their only bonus

Room was not cleaned properly. Hair in the sink, dust and dirt behind the door! Garbage under the desks and table! Had a shower to find out the shampoo pump is empty! Had to come out of the shower, dry off to call front desk to ask for shampoo. Granted he was quick to bring it. Overall, the place is running down in shape and doesn’t seem like it is being kept to represent the price they charge.

The room were pristine and lovely. Except for a middle of the night thomper in the room above us, it was very quiet. We arrived an hour early but were unable to check in before 4 pm; however at 4 pm there was only one employee checking in all guests that were put off until 4 pm as well as answering the phone, etc., so check in was slow. The surrounding property was very nicely maintained.

A beautiful hotel that was beautiful with their artwork and features. Very accommodating with a mixup with my booking regarding my pet. It was immediately rectified and we were really happy with our room. Beautiful walk in shower and the beds and pillows were so comfortable! Will definitely recommend.

Described as a luxury hotel, is a stretch. The rooms are quite small and in need of a deep clean. Pros: bed is comfy, linens are soft (did have some staining), ample parking, plenty of hot water, scent-free (no artificial air fresheners and the bath products weren’t heavily scented). AC worked well. Location. Wifi was strong. Cons: The shower has various types of mold in the caulking, and lots of dust on the lights and headboards. The fridge setting can’t be adjusted and froze everything we put in it (all our food for the next day’s hike). The bedside lights didn’t work on one of the beds. We asked the front desk for an extra blanket, waited an hour (it seemed like it was a busy time), didn’t get it. Went back later and asked again and was told there wasn’t any. Not one extra blanket in the entire hotel?? Front desk did not appear interested at all when we voiced our concerns. Not within the hotels ability to control, but to note the person above us was either a toddler jumping around or someone wearing heavy boots walking back and forth each night between 11pm-2am. Not sure if it’s sound proofing issue or just that person.

Indifferent staff, blocked shower drain

I really want to give this hotel a good review, but it is interesting how one little thing can ruin a whole experience. Check- in was average, nothing special. The art found in various places in the hotel is beautiful and very interesting. The rooms are beautiful and mostly clean. However, our room had a moldy smell, which improved after we threw open the window and turned on the AC. Unfortunately, our shower drain was completely blocked, which we discovered in the evening when we wanted to shower. We called the front desk to get somebody to come fix the shower. The front desk person said there was nobody else that can help us, and her foot was sore, so she was not going to do it. She really did not care. My husband had to go downstairs and he found liquid plumber. He had to try clean the drain himself, was unsuccessful, and we ended up with no showers. I had to use the bathroom sink to do a partial wash. Hotel guests should not have to clean blocked drains in their room! This is the worst service, and, unfortunately, we won’t return there.

A Clean Bathroom is A Must

I had a hard time at check in because apparently after booking my stay in July, by the time I got there in late August there was no room saved for me where my daughter and I could stay with my dog. After the front desk personnel offered one night in a dog friendly room, and suggested I have my dog stay in the car I called everywhere else in town but nothing was available/could accommodate me. In short, I ended up getting a room for both nights after pleading and sharing that I had driven for 6 days from Ontario. Needless to say it was a terrible experience. The hotel is beautiful and while no one acknowledged me when I waited in the restaurant that served breakfast for atleast 8 minutes where it is posted to wait to be seated, I'd still give this hotel another try. Perhaps they will offer better customer service next time. Lastly, the carpet in the room I stayed in smelled musty and the shower stall needed to be cleaned better.
Nice shower
