My one day at Coast Parksville Hotel was exceptional … I booked the room in a very short notice. I came 1.5 hours before check in and they gave me the room … early check in. The hotel is residing in a very quiet neighbourhood on the famous Island Hwy road. It is across a Mini Golf and minutes away from the beach. The hotel looks brand new from outside and inside. They have free modern coffee machine in the guests room with a fireplace. The room looks brand new … everything you need is available … free wifi, air conditioner, comfortable bed and pillows, fridge, microwave, your own coffee/tea machine, TV, many clean towels, small table and chairs, adjustable light … the reception is friendly … always smiling … and they even offered suggestions like the free mini golf. This is a must try hotel if you are passing by the majestic Parksville. For groceries, I walked 18 minutes to Quality Food … a very modern and new HUGE grocery shop. There is a MacDonald couple of minutes away. Though, the best part is the water walkway which is just 8-10 minutes away from hotel … walking. Enjoy

This hotel has been nicely renovated and is very clean. Staff is pleasant. The hotel pictures make it seem like there's a pool. There isn't. However, there's a mini golf and bumper boats across the street, which may be even better for families with small children. Parksville is a lovely city and the hotel is in a great location close to the Parksville community beach and park.
