Staff was nice but the room smelled like years of smoke and was dirty. It’s definitely a motel that people live at as there were some folks who seemed like residents and were yelling and swearing. I wouldn’t have stayed but it was one of the only options due to the eclipse.
Property is an older motel, dated, furnishings are old and show the wear of time, but overall it was cleaned as best as possible, staff was friendly and helpful, beds were clean and surprisingly comfortable. And immediately adjacent to an excellent restaurant. So it’s a quick walk to aid digestion after too much food and drink
The toilet was plugged, near to overflowing. So could not flush. Light on the middle table between the beds was woefully dim. Dust bunnies behind the doors.
We did not stay at this property. Checked in and when we saw the room we decided to leave. Bed and linens appeared stained and room had insects.

This is where I stay every time I come to Plattsburgh. Rooms are always clean and quiet, and love the free breakfast (there's a waffle maker!). I'll stay here over the more expensive options every trip.
There was no breakast. I stayed 1 week. Only cereal, seedy waffle maker, and coffee cakes from the grocery store box. I checked in around 3:30pm and my room still wasn't ready. There was also a dirty wash cloth on the shower rod. I won't stay here again. Room smelled musty too.

Room and bed comfortable. Convenient to freeways and restaurants. Rooms could use upgrade. Staff was helpful and friendly.
The outsides of the building needed sweeping and picking up. No one cleaned up a bag of trash and coffee cups at the picnic area the whole time we were there. The room itself was clean, but waaaaay past it's prime. It needed the grout cleaned, the mattress replaced (beyond lumpy) and the pillows were awful. Also, the coffee pot seemed to be missing a key component to work. The staff was friendly and pleasant.
It’s an ok place for staying a night. Their rates are reasonable for what the property offers. My only suggestion would be to better clean or fix their bath rubs as they’re in raw condition.
The hotel itself was oldish, the office area was updated and done very nice, and the room was very clean, comfy and QUIET!! The staff was also GREAT!! I would stay here again...
Staff was extremely helpful and helped me with whatever I needed. Had a car problem and they helped me find a place to fix it nearby, and got me on my way again. Great job.

Liked location, convenient for visiting my mom who is at Meadowbrook. Would recommend updating the rooms with more modern bathrooms.
