Beautiful hotel right in downtown Lake Placid

Beautiful views of Mirror Lake from front side of hotel. We really enjoyed the balcony. Hotel was clean & the eating area is very pretty, with more views of the lake. We really appreciated being able to walk to Main Street restaurants & shops & were thankful we didn't have to drive or try to find parking. Pool was decent, hot tub as well.

Overall, this Hampton Inn may be the worst I have stayed in. It was easily 100-150 overpriced even for the Holiday Weekend. The bathroom had chipped paint, there was no vent in the bathrooms, the TV and remote were difficult to manage. Bathroom was not even Days Inn quality. If you are headed to Lake Placid, definitely look somewhere else!
