Overall it’s good except they don’t regulate the EV chargers. This BMW hybrid owner took the advantage of the charger overnight and it seemed that hotel staff didn’t really care. It’s just common sense and courteous thing to move your car once charging done, but some ignorant people don’t. Then hotel should engage so that other guests can use the amenities.

It’s one of the few properties in Lake Placid that offer a free breakfast and it is actually pretty good. It’s also located right next to a nice bar/restaurant that has amazing food as well. We come with our family every year and love it. The views from the main lobby/breakfast area are gorgeous of mirror lake and the mountains surrounding.

We were really unhappy about check in because the room that we booked was not provided (we booked for suite with king bed but got two queen beds). Hotel said that it was Expedia’s problem and to call Expedia customer service. However even if we called Expedia, the hotel would still not be able to fix the issue because no other rooms were available. This very negatively impacted our stay and we experience, we got a worse room that we expected. This will be the last time that we book through Expedia and at Hilton. We are asking for a refund due to our negative experience for new years stay.
