I was here for just one night. My room was great although there was construction pretty much right in front of my view of the lake. No one was working but still hindered the view. Bed was comfy and lots of space in the room.

Beautiful views of Mirror Lake

Clean hotel with good service. The hotel is within walking distance to Lake Placid village shops/Main Street. It is across the street from Mirror Lake, which has a 2.7 mile walking path around it and there’s a nearby rental place for kayaks/paddle boards to use on the lake. Enjoyed our stay here.

Good view. The only thing I didn’t like was that we couldn’t sit by the front to enjoy the lake view due to construction work. Also, the air conditioning system is so loud, you can not sleep due to the noise it makes every time it turns on.

The Hampton Inn Lake Placid is a resort - not only is it close to the Main Street shops and reataurants but the hotel itself had movie nights, kids activities, complimentary drinks and warm chocolate chip cookies and live entertainment on a Saturday night.

Nice location and clean but a couple issues: fire pit was out of commission … no chance to sit outside and enjoy the sunset with a fire. For the few seats out front by the lake, no cushions … unusable. Went inside to watch Monday Night Football … tv didn’t work. Breakfast was better than expected though .. overall, disappointed we couldn’t sit outside.
