loved that it was on the water and the room was very nice: HUGE tv (which is a plus bc ive stayed at places with crap tv's lately) and the shower is perfect

I was very pleased by the staff and the willingness to go out of their way to help. Thank you, even if the stay was short, it was very comfortable.

cozy hotel and filet mignon at the restaurant was great!!

Great hotel by the beach! Great staff and location!

The Allegria experience was a disappointment. At a rate of $330+ per night there is an expectation that the shower water will be hot and not just lukewarm. There is an expectation that the restaurant, the centerpiece of the hotel and beautiful space, will not be poor. The bed was comfortable and the staff at the front desk were gracious and pleasant but those were the only high points. I would look for better options next time I visit Long Island. Shouldn’t be hard to do.

close to beach and boardwalk. staff pleasant and helpful but crazy expensive with tons of service charges. room furnished cheaply. no room service. and not many amenities. pool not available after 5 because of private events which took over the hotel. friday and saturday. if it was half the price we might return.

There were long black hairs on my blanket and on the bathroom floor. The air conditioning had not been turned on in preparation of our arrival, and then it broke down. An engineer came to fix it, but it took a long time for it to actually cool our room. Then I woke up at 5am to find it was broken, as were many of the other room in the hotel, and there was no one to fix it. It was like being in a hot box. We left and went to friends. On the positive side, the manager agreed that we should get our payment back, with no trouble.

Located right on the boardwalk. Great location and great views.

Booked the sunset suite so my husband and I could enjoy our first night as newly weds before we officially went on our honeymoon. The room was spacious and the view was absolutely amazing. The bartenders at the bar were also super friendly. I kind of chose the wrong day to stay there because there was this college party (I assumed it was college aged kids Bc they were drinking) that went on forever and ever. My husband and I could here the music well into the wee hours of the morning when we were trying to sleep. Fast forward to 8am we heard loud banging and talking in the hallway. Needless to say it was a very sleepless night. That suite is awful for drowning out outside noise.

Fantastic location. Had dinner in the restaurant, which really couldn't be beat. Modern, bright, pretty and right on the boardwalk with its ocean view!

decent..............................................

Beautiful views of the beach, boardwalk and ocean. We loved that the windows in our room opened to hear the waves crashing and smell the ocean. The hotel offered a lovely breakfast buffet. Beautiful bar and restaurant.

A plus Everything was nice clean and good A plus Everything was nice clean and good

Very cold in the room fire alarm was going off for no reason

Hotel staff gave us beach passes so that we could enjoy the beach while we waitind for our room as we arrived early. They also provided beach chairs and towels. After that the experience went down hill. The room was not very clean, we asked the front desk for extra soap and never got it, called housekeeping, no answer. We were finally able to get soap in the morning when we saw the cleaning people in the hallways. The rooftop bar and swimming pool were closed before 8pm on Thursday night. We didn't get a chance to enjoy that amenity.

Let me start by saying that my husband and I travel often. We stay in every range of hotel, depending on the trip, location and length of stay. The Allegria was a serious disappointment, especially given the 4 to 5 star rates they charge. The positive: location is perfect...right on the beach. The lobby and hotel bar and restaurant are lovely. The medium: The pool is on the roof and is way, WAY smaller than picture. The bad: Our first room had mold all over the bathroom and a broken a.c. unit. Being July, that was a big problem. They moved us to another room (with a nicer view which was greatly appreciated). This second room also had mold all over the shower, the handle of the mini fridge was broken off, and the counter tops were cracked and broken. We elected to stay in the room as the a.c. unit worked and we had a dinner reservation and we were running out of time to deal with these issues. The next morning, the sink trap connection was so loose that it creates a bathroom floor flood. We just hand tightened it and it was fixed. We packed up and got outta there, electing to shower st home due to the moldy shower. We would NOT recommend this hotel unless you are getting it for a hundred bucks a night. It does NOT look like the room pictures.

Was a cold and windy day with cold air drifting from windows, room was really cold, room was heated with space heaters which didn't provide enough heat, staff was not very helpful, offered a downgrade room for same price, or upgrade for additional fee. refused to provide additional heater saying it would trip the fuse, although there where outlets on another breaker available, they just waived the 35$ resort fee.
