Great location, mediocre property condition and no control over allowing kids to take rooms for parties. In 3 nights we were constantly Disturbed with kids in the hallways hanging around, screaming, etc. Ownership does appear to be improving the physical plant of the property so maybe one day it will be a more upscale property.

Great place

The absolute worst hotel experience in my entire life. Mold in the shower, the bed was uncomfortable, it was hard as a rock, the pool on the roof is the size of a bathtub and worst of all, they only make up your room and take out your garbage ONCE EVERY 3 DAYS!!! I cannot stress how dreadful this hotel was. 0 stars!!!!!

Its a pretty place but they didnt have the pool open. And the resort fee is pretty steep. Food was ok. The bar was a free for all.. People in bathing suits ..in this supposed upscale restaurantm even men without shirts at the ba. And kids in strollers in the loung area. That was really bizzare.

The amenities and resort price on Orbitz is not the same as what the hotel charges. Also, an elevator was out of service making it difficult to get through floors or the rooftop pool. It was out of service during Che k out time, which was truly inconvenient.

After waiting around all day we finally received a key around 4:15 when we got into our room it was not cleaned. garbage and food and dirty floors and counters. i called no one answered. Next i went down and told the front desk. The lady said if someone doesnt come up in half hour return down. I gave them till 5pm NO one came. I returned down and she said this time she will send a housekeeping manager to see. Around 5:15 he came up, he then said he would bring in housekeeping to clean. i kept my children on the bed as they did a quick mop and wipe down. After this we felt disgusted. we slept and left first thing in the morning as i didnt want my children playing or touching anything.

A great location right on the boardwalk, facing the ocean. The interior is bright, Scandinavian minimal. Local street parking and private parties can get crowded on weekends but the very attentive staff make staying-guests a priority. The morning coffee is excellent but they need to work on their breakfast.

Contemporary building with great design, location and access to beach. Elegant and professional seaside luxury. My only nit was my neighbors. Not sure if the walls are thin or they were really loud!

This is my second stay here, and despite COVID and it not being summer weather, my husband and I had a wonderful experience. The perfect getaway.

Literally the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We called the hotel the day before to reserve a spot at the pool and were told we could do it at check in. At check in we once again asked to reserve a spot at the pool and we’re told that it had to be done at the pool. My husband went up to reserve a spot and we were then told there were no availability until 6pm which is ridiculous. Since we arrived at around 1:30pm we were told our room wasn’t ready so we left our bags with the bellhop and was told we would be called when our room was ready. At 4pm we still did not receive a phone call so we went back to the front desk where suddenly a room was ready but we were never informed. We collected our bags and headed to our room where we noticed the air conditioner was not working and was instead replaced with a window air conditioner which I haven’t seen in a hotel in maybe 10 years. We checked our luggage only to find my husband’s white collared shirt was missing. I called the front desk from the hotel’s phone to only be placed on a continuous hold so I called the front desk from my cell phone and somehow got thru. When my husband’s shirt arrived I was going to iron it only to find there was no iron or ironing board. The bathroom had zero towels and my husbands overnight bag was missing so he decided to go down and get it himself. After much frustration we decided to leave the hotel after only staying in our room for 2 hours. Definitely will not be staying here again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, and we are not sure when your stay was as the pool has been closed for a while as it is seasonal, and although of its size, it is the only roof top pool in Long Beach offering spectacular views of the ocean. The hotel was recently purchased and there were some conditional and cleanliness concerns upon take over, however the cleanliness was addressed immediately and rectified. The rooms are completely serviced ever other day and fresh towels or having trash removed is upon request, regardless of the length of stay. In regards to the conditional items, such as the mattresses, the hotel will be undergoing a major renovation starting in the first quarter of 2022. We are confident should you choose to stay next summer you will find a truly transformed hotel. Have a safe and happy Holiday Season.
