After all flights into NYC were canceled due to the weather, the hotel refused to issue a refund for the first night. When we did finally arrive and check-in the next day, our room was so frigid it was unbearable. We never could get the thermostat to properly adjust, the room lacked a hair dryer, there was constant noise outside the room caused by hotel staff, and simple things like coffee packs in the room were missing. In general, a miserable experience. We've stayed at this hotel previously while visiting family in the area. Never again. The only positive we can give it was the hotel restaurant, although service was spotty on the two occasions we dined there.

Very friendly staff, rooms are clean, lobby is spacious with lots of different seating options and capacity. Nice bathroom in the lobby for the ladies. Rooftop pool is beautiful… very nice view of the ocean.

Nice property with lots of protocols

I felt like there were more rules and protocols than I was prepared for at a hotel or resort. The elevators were also very slow and took a lot of time away from our day whenever we needed to run to and from our room. I was also very alarmed to see that we would have to pay a huge fee if our beach passes were lost. I loved the pool but I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable recommending to a friend or family member for the future.

This is definitely a 3 STAR HOTEL!!!! At check in we informed them we were celebrating our honeymoon (even though it was already added to the notes section on our reservation), and the manager on duty said he would do something special for us and nothing was done or offered. Would not stay here to celebrate a special occasion. :( The room smelled like mold, and there was black mold in the shower. The resort fee was a lot higher than listed on their website. Called room service to ask for a few things, and items were NEVER delivered or brought to the room. Called back an hour later to find status and they said they are out stock and can’t bring anything up. The beach access and set up is the best part of this hotel, perfect place to access beach and so walkable to restaurants! Loved being on the broad walk, super great location! Wanted to love this hotel so badly. Pool is great, restaurant at the hotel is good as well.

We had a suite with a microwave and a sink. The room was very nice, but in a suite you should have silverware, plates and cups! Also, going to the beach was A L O T! The beach chair/towel natzi was rude. You have to go down to the basement and fill out a form to get 2 lousy beach chairs and two lousy towels in order to go to the beach. Also, don't forget your key card or you're not getting on the beach. I get they are trying to keep the riff raff out, but it's a little MUCH!

Booked a hotel stay for my family and I as I was a bride to be and we had tons of luggage. No one at the hotel offered a bellhop luggage cart or any assistance to help bring our luggage or my wedding dress upstairs to our room. There was no conditioner in the shower dispensers. The air conditioner was not working and we had to call the front desk to have someone fix it. The lockbox wasn’t working. They refused to refund one of the nights we overbooked prior to checking in and didn’t offer any options to help resolve the issue.

Directly at Boardwalk the hotel offers the best location. Unfortunately there are many inadequacies in management. Obe of the lifts was on 2 days out of service which causes queues and long waiting times. To wait was as well in the restaurant. 2 days more than 10 minutes to get a reaction of the crew at breakfast. Pool times got shortened because of a wedding. To find pool places was almost impossible.

Overall the property has potential to be a really nice place to stay. Since we only stayed one night, I didn’t want to complain too much. The AC was really weak and did not cool down our room enough. Also the bath towels did not smell fresh/clean. The elevator had some issues and were slow. Would consider staying again if improvements are made.
