It was wonderful!!!! Very comfortable and a beautiful place to stay. Wonderful room on the 19th floor with a spectacular view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Great tiki bar with live music at Sharky's just down the beach. Would definitely stay there agaian.

Little pricey but our view was amazing! Our room was gorgeous BUT we had ants in our master bedroom when we checked in. It took about 2 hours for them to get there to take care of it. But, they made it right and we were very happy with the customer service. The beds in both room were very soft and uncomfortable to sleep so we woke up with our backs aching. I hope they do put some new mattresses in there but that wouldn't stop me from going back.

First, they charge you a $130 cleaning fee at check-in, which we found weird since we didn't see this upon booking. Well, it turns out, Orbitz doesn't mention this until AFTER you've booked the room. Literally, every time I went to the desk, I heard the same conversation over and over again. "well, it was in the fine print." There is no Wi-Fi. Not even an option to buy wi-fi, so if you want that, you better take a walk over to the starbucks. Also, they make you wear these cheap green wristbands. If you lose the "one size fits all" armband, you'll be paying $50 for a $0.99 piece of rubber. We were told we were getting "two beds," which means one queen bed and a bunk bed (or the pull out sofa, which had a mattress that was all springs). Oh, and bring your own fitted sheets, because all they provide you is a top sheet and a comforter. That being said, the condo had a full kitchen with dishes and silverware. It had 2 bathrooms and 2 TV's. It even had a washer and dryer. It had a nice view and beach access. I won't be staying here again.

Very pleased with our accommodations!!! Definitely will be back.

No internet service in the room so, i had went out side room Starbucks.

She's a bit worn down now but the view is still great and the location is very convenient..

Upon arriving to our room- we were hit with an awful smell that turned our stomachs. We went on in and began to see several stains on the floors and walls. Looking more closely, it appeared to be blood in some areas and pet stains in others. I could be wrong, but that is what it looked like. We called the front office and after a while they switched us to another room. We had to go back to them however to retrieve the new keys. The new room was better, but still dirty. Hairs and stains still and there were goldfish crackers in the floor of the bedroom. We paid for valet, and I ended up having to go get my own car and repark my own car. We finally ask for a refund and they were not very friendly and told us they would have to email to get it for us. Never left knowing whether we would get it or not. There was no WiFi in the rooms either. The pool areas and amenities were nice. If we were to return we would stay on the Wyndham side as we were told they have higher standards to meet for their rooms.

I got into town with my family at midnight they had no record of my reservation supposedly the guy was very unhelpful it was memorial day weekend I could not get another room I was six hours away from home and stranded with three babies and a husband I am not very happy

Terrible. Way too over priced for the time we spent plus they charge you a huge fee for "cleaning" when you get there but you have to take the trash out, put the dirty towels in the bath and load the dishwasher before you leave! Also you get a green plastic wristband to wear to have beach access but if you lose it it cost $50 for each one not returned!! $50 per hour late checkout fee. Also our ice machine broke so we had to go buy ice (they did fix it that day though) But the place is really nice if you don't mind paying a lot!

Someone works the front desk from only 9-5 so if you want to check-in you have to drive 3-4 miles away to check-in. Not only was the room filthy: mildew on the shower heads, dirty leftover wash cloth in master bath, hair left on floor, yellow stains on ice dispenser, dirty areas rugs, dirty floors, etc., the ice maker and microwave didn't work. The sink and tub were clogged. The thermostats was also preset to 70 degrees. After lowering the temperature several times it defaulted back to 70. Since the master bedroom was on the opposite side of the unit, it was uncomfortable HOT. If you book this resort, you"ll regret it!!!!

We enjoyed our stay. However, it did come with a few frustrating room inconveniences, which are annoying to deal with on vacay. First, we could hardly get the door open. The strip on the bottom prevented a usual exit or entry. Called maintenance, they came and removed it but then there was an inch gap that made the winds whistle through so we placed a beach towel down there that helped. The master toilet definitely had its issues. They obviously knew because there was a plunger in there. Wouldn't flush on most occasions and plunger was over used and had a hole in the side of it so it didn't work well. It was very annoying to use the hall bathroom for the majority of the 5 night trip. Then I pulled a towel up off the towel bar as I was exiting the shower and the towel bar came off the wall. Obvious signs of that previously as well as the paint on the wall was scratched and rubbed in those areas. Then, I guess they may have been working one morning because there were loud awful sounds. We ate breakfast and left for the day... The cookware was nonstick and needed to be tossed because of the nonstick portion not safe to cook on due to it all flaking off. And finally, we invited our friends over to swim as we have in many other places we have visited before... They were not allowed to swim without checking in. Which I completely understand for security purposes and it is nice to be safe, however, the desk hours to check someone in are like 9a-6p. It was a last minute decision so it was around 5p and no one was there. Major bummer for our kids. Then the next morning when they (our friends) came back they explained guest aren't supposed to use the facilities such as swim. I don't understand. We have never had that problem anywhere else. They let our friends swim but were very hesitant to give my friend an arm band. The best part was that the kiddie pool was across the street from the beach and situated between the tall buildings which really cut down the wind and the pool water was heated. For spring break it allowed us to enjoy the water without freezing which for us with kids made the other annoyances worth dealing with.

If you are under 25 they charge you 147$ extra. If you are under 21 you cannot stay. The floors are stained with puke and blood and other bodily fluids. The pillows towels and bed sheets smell. The location is a ghetto luck that i didnt get robbed, other than every cab charging a mile distance 15$! There's no food service or anything, no wifi starbucks below has wifi thank god. Neighbors will consist of drunkards and students loud and disturbing. Beach is nice, but fills with trash because of spring breakers.

My friends and I are under 25 so we had to stay at a place that was a hotel type checkin. The great thing about this place was that the rooms were like condos and the price was reasonable. The room was in great condition once we got there with an amazing view of the gulf. Plenty of room for five people though having the bunk beds in the wall as you pretty much walked into the room was a little odd. The kitchen was large, clean, and well stocked with dishes. The beds were neat and clean as was all the furniture and carpets. Overall a fantastic room for us. The rest of the amenities were great as well. Three pools all clean with well kept furniture. The Skybar was nice though finding hours for it was a slight challenge. The hotel hosted activities everyday while we were there, but we were unable to go. The small things I didn't like were the elevators and getting to parking. The park structure is well lit and plenty wide but in order to get to our room we had to either cross the busy street without a cross walk or go over the sky bridge which entailed going up the elevator crossing the bridge going back down to get on a different elevator to go up to our room. It seemed a little silly to us. The elevators were also a little iffy at some times and went ridiculously fast in my opinion but I will add that I don't care for elevators at all so my opinion is most definitely biased. Over all our stay was wonderful and we all discussed if we could not find a better deal on a condo vacation rental next year we are definitely coming back to this place.

Check in was great, very friendly. They were very helpful. Room was clean, spacious, and modern. the kitchen was big with all the ementities you would expect if you were at home. Washer and dryer was a plus we were not expecting. (BIG HELP!) From room to beach took only 5 minutes, and we were close to everything.WE are definitely going back again. Only downside was that the time went by so fast!!

We always stay here. We love it here. The staff are friendly. The condos are always relaxing and roomy.

the first we stayed back in december 2011 it was great. we just tried to stay again and the service was terrible. we got to the hotel and we couldn't check in immeidately because the check people at emerald were gone for the day so we had to go to edgewater and check in. once we got our keys we go to the hotel and neither key works. it took them almost 30 minutes to send security to open our door and then we were told we could not get keys that worked until the next day. we ended canceling the reservation because the manager name Sarah was just rude and not helpful. This is a good hotel as long you arrive before emerald staff leaves

We have stayed at the Emerald Beach Resort on several occasions. Recently my fiancé and I had decided to do a quick getaway with some close friends, so naturally we decided to come back to Emerald Beach Resort. The room we stayed in came with two bathrooms, that was great, I don't like sharing. The room was clean, and our friends could see why we have been staying here. The only thing that would have made our stay a little nicer would have been cooler weather. We went night fishing off of the county pier and caught a "few" fish. We can't wait to come back again.

Very nice room and very helpful staff.

Walk on the beach

Great location. Beautiful gulf view! Beautiful beach! Wonderful staff! We were skeptical because of some bad reviews, the bad reviews that you read are probably individual owned condo renters! Emerald Beach Resort condos are amazing! Perfect location away from the crazy Spring Breakers! Highly recommend!! Easy access to beach! Very nicely equipped! Quite! 1 mile from Pier Park!
