No soap at sink or shower. Light by bed out. No one at front desk to assist in person. Very dated decor, pretty shabby. Not worth price.
Very nice property in a great location. You can continue the drive up the Outer Banks to see the attractions up there are ride the ferry back to Ocracoke. Very close to the beach, nice places to eat nearby.
Housekeeper did not come all week. Toilet is way too small price was too high. Everybody smokes right outside your door. Other than that it was decent. Oh plus they close the pool if there’s any sort of thunder.
I arrived at 1:10 AM, but the self check-in kiosk closes at 1AM. I tried to call the number listed for the customer service desk. But no answer. Even using the phone attached to the kiosk rang a number, but no answer. I ended up sleeping in my car in the hotel parking lot. And was not offered any reimbursement other than a "I'm sorry, I was tired" Other than that, the rest of my two other days was good.
The owner was very rude. Front desk receptionist was absolutely great though!
Somewhat outdated hotel but mattresses looked new and were comfortable. Quiet and got a restful sleep. Was last minute booking, price was right and location was convenient. Would not stay there again (I prefer newer) but would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

Hatteras Island Inn has an observation deck to see the lighthouse. It is a awesome view. The cleaning staff is wonderful. The front desk is friendly. Highly reccomend this hotel.
Super clean, very friendly, effective. All fine. The location is very central, at the main road, a little noisy - perfect if you stay one night and move on, less perfect for a vacay bliss.

less than 3 minutes walk to the beach. Clean rooms, good mattresses and bed linens.
We came down a day early for our vacation and stayed one night. Nice room and views. Would stay there again...highly recommended!!!
The lookout tower was unique. only disappointment was that most businesses close at 9pm. Some close as early as 3pm so timing is a factor
Excellent location, right off the strip. Perfect place to visit when you want to be close to the beach. A five minute drive to food, bars, and Oceanside. Reasonably priced for the area with swimming pool, fantastic staff, easy to find area etc. I would recommend for anyone that wants a quiet, peaceful stay in the OBX.

Close to beach. Furniture, especially beds are extremely worn, cleaning staff does minimal effort. Pool furniture is broken and dangerous to use! Too many outside, non guests using pool!
