Were welcomed at front desk by friendly staff. Parked in heated underground parking. Low roof clearance so drive slowly when entering and exiting. Had dinner and breakfast at restaurant. Great waitress. Will definitely stay here again.
I took my wife here for her 60th birthday for a 'nice hotel night from home' and did not have any expectations. When checking in I happened to mention it was Brenda's birthday to which I was asked to return the paperwork I was completing and another page was printed, handed to me and followed by the explanation that we were getting an upgrade because of the occasion. When we got to our room, we found we had been moved to the top floor with a beach view. It was an amazing gesture that we completely enjoyed. The balcony gave us a great view but showed evidence of bird droppings and cigarette butts. We casually mentioned this on our way out for a walk and it was immediately cleaned for us! The underground parking was fabulous and I used the pool/hot tub that evening. The hot tub was - without a doubt - the HOTTEST hot tub I have been in in any hotel I can recall. It was pretty awesome. Aside from parts of this building showing its age, staff was excellent, accommodating, helpful, friendly and just wonderful. If you haven't stayed here before, try to book a room higher than the second floor. If you can get one with a beach view rather than street view, you'll thank me for it. We'll come back here again. Thank you!
Very friendly and helpful staff We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite for the same price as our original booking...very happy about the room I would definitely stay at this hotel if we're in town again...
Plenty of room in the suite.Nice view.Very quiet.Because it was off-season it wasn't, busy. Best sleep in a while..TV was not the best ,but the food in the dinning room was first class. The lake was still frozen so we didn't go swimming.
Our room had amazing view! We stayed for the Canada Day fireworks last year. It was AMAZING! The Holiday Inn Osoyoos had the best view from the private island, and from all the rooms. Rooms were clean, some details were a bit out dated but over all a great value. The restaurant upstairs "Sol" had an amazing risotto and lots of local wine. A+++ if you have kids the lake is so shallow and warm, the stress level is low and the atmosphere is calming. *Repeat yearly!*
It was a decent hotel, had a little kitchenette. Also had 2 bedrooms and a living room. The hotel has beach access and beach chairs in the back to enjoy. This is not a fancy shmancy place, but decent if you are not too picky.
Staff helpful and friendly. Good location on my travels, and winter rates very good value. Summer higher, but you are on the lake shore (I only travel through the area in the 'off season'). Parking garage somewhat crowded with recreation equipment storage in the winter, but convenient elevator to floors. Most rooms have fridge and microwave; some kitchenettes. Restaurant/lounge also.
The holiday Inn in Osoyoos, BC was a great location in the city, close to the lake and other tourist locations. Very clean and good sized rooms. We had the one bedroom with a full kitchen. The view of the surrounding hills of Spirit Rigde was gorgeous and was very close to various wineries. Great Italian restaurant right across the street from the hotel also. A daily breakfast was included in the lobby with the room rate also.
Practicing our Canadian Snowbird winter getaway. Holiday Inn Osoyoos is a great place to start. Better quality complimentary coffee and a working treadmill in the fitness centre would have made our getaway more satisfying. Also, having a daily Globe and Mail newspaper would have been great.
Nice suite, good service, excellent value-would go again. Our stay was during the worst winter in 30yr. We were very satisfied with our suite and would recommend this hotel as a great value and a comfortable, guiet location to vacation.
