It was great! We didn't check in til Midnight, and they made special arrangements so we could get our key. They upgraded us to a better room for free! And the balcony with the view of the ocean and Nubble Light was to die for! The only thing some people may not like is it's an older hotel. Also... I didn't find a hair dryer there. But they had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, internet, Cable TV, heated indoor pool! Free parking! Great staff! Just a wonderful place!

The proximity to the ocean as well as the stunning view were amazing. A great spot for a beach getaway. The facility was dated but kept up well enough. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Convenient parking and location. Excellent if you plan to spend your time at the beach.

We stayed here one night on an anniversary jaunt. My husband has some problems with stairs, so the outside stairways (no elevators) didn’t give him easy access. I was pleased with the cleanliness and condition of the room, which opened out on a balcony with individual areas for sitting and viewing the ocean, which, other than cables, was unobstructed. The beds were super comfortable.
Hotel staff was super friendly, we were on the 2nd floor, the views were amazing, I spent as much time as I could on the balcony. Water pressure and shower head were great, it was a wonderful shower!! I didn't like the soap so would recommend bringing your own. Bedding & decor was a bit dated. Would have loved if there were screens on the doors so we could have had bug free evenings to enjoy that ocean air. I will definitely come back here, loved this place!!
I came here with my mom for Mother's day weekend. The staff were vetypleasant, and the room was clean and comfortable. Being right across the road from Long Sands Beach and having a balcony with a view the ocean was a wonderful treat for both my mom and I. I would wholeheartedly recommend Grand View Inn & Cottages, and I will definitely come back to stay here again.
We loved watching and listening to the ocean from our balcony without staying on the beach all day.
