Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The room was great.

We had a great time, played the slots, had dinner, bought keepsakes at the gift shop. it was a full day of enjoyment.. We even won some money. We were so glad we did not have to drive home to Gorham, ME. It was so nice to be able to hop on an elevator and settle into an elegant room with an incredibly comfortable bed We enjoyed it so much we are planning to come back and do it again for my Birthday in December.

The rooms are very clean and the staff are outstanding very helpful and polite. The only real thing we found was the bed wasn't very comfortable other than that a great place to stay.

Great place to stay if going to the waterfront for a concert

The hotel was very nice, clean and convenient. I would recommend it to all.

We were attending the annual Winter Beach Ball at the Cross Center. A benefit supporting the new EMMC Neonatal Intensive Care unit where I worked for many years. We needed more beds and a facility more supportive of the baby's physical, neurologic, nutritional, etc., needs as well to support the families' needs so they can be with their babies. It is an amazing place. The public has no idea how technical, emotional, detailed, a neonate's medical care can be. This is an amazing space.

Was exactly what I wanted/expected. The room was comfortable and only took a minute to get to the casino. I enjoyed the 11 am checkout time

Paid a premium price (almost double the normal rate) because it was university homecoming weekend (among other big events in town)... and was disappointed. There is no room service, no complimentary newspapers available, no morning coffee in lobby, in room coffee only had tiny packets of yucky powdered creamer, the check-in parking/garage parking/hotel/casino corridors were tangled and confusing - definitely not guest friendly. Only 3 spaces for hotel check in - located in obscure area at back of hotel, not covered for bad weather, and once you check in you have to go outside, drive around the building, park, take an elevator, then hotel and take another elevator to room floors. I appreciate it is secure, but when you have luggage and other stuff to carry it is not at all convenient. I called to lobby to ask about coffee in the lobby, got a curt response no, then asked if creamer was available for purchase in their guest store next to lobby and then got another curt no. I plugged my laptop charger into one of the outlets beside the bed and it didn't work - either receptacle, then used another outlet and when I went to unplug the cord the entire outlet came off the wall about 1/2 an inch before I got the cord unplugged. On the upside, the nice young guy who checked me in was great, the water pressure was nice, the soap was a nice touch and smelled great, and the room was nice and clean. Took the tangled journey to Take 2 (once it opened at 7) - it was awesome!

Rooms are always clean and up to our expectations. Staff courteous and friendly

Rooms always clean and fresh. Staff friendly and helpful

I wanted an exciting hotel for our 26 wedding anniversary.OMG.this was great, the staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, the casino was wild..felt like a kid again..Thanks.. great stay...I would definitely stay there again.

We love coming to Bangor and when we do the only place we will stay is at Hollywood Slots Hotel & Raceway. All the staff are very helpful and the rooms are very roomy and nice & comfortable. Some of the employee's (A) go way above and beyond to get you the best rate and make sure your stay is nothing but the best and to her I say THANK YOU!

I was in town for business. It was a great value for the quality of the room.

Great place to stay, clean comfortable accomadations

The hotel was very clean and the check in staff were courteous and helpful. This was our second stay at this hotel and we would stay there again.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the new restaurant and the casino. We will stay again!

i was disappointed with the quality and selection of foods on the buffet. Soups were watery and the vegetables, rice and pasta selections were lukewarm...not hot. Cooks were not familiar with the proper preparation of fish/seafood . Worst buffet at a casino I've ever had.

Lounge staff and Casino managemet/security need to get real with themselves. We were part of a large Wedding party that arrived back from the Wedding around nine o'clock on Saturday nite. Everyone was in a good mood and most everyone took a bus to and from the wedding. Several issues arose that had several folks not being served or allowed back in to the casino. No one was being disrespectful or getting out of hand but staff/management came down on them hard. These same folks had been there for two days using all of the amenities without issue and were acting responsibly by being bused to and from the wedding. No voices were raised and nobody got out of hand but security acted like they were Military police. No other guests of the hotel or patrons of the casino were being bothered. I myself was being assessed by the bartender before he allowed me to order my Coke. I don't even drink. My girlfriend was offended by this type of treatment as well and she had no problem being served after she was assessed. Go figure.

Overall the hotel and rooms are nice but the staff was incredibly unresponsive to our questions and concerns. The casino staff were also very aloof and uninterested in helping guests.

The only complaint was the quality of the food. Snack Bar only place open after 10pm.
