Chose hotel for proximity to Bar Harbor without having to pay Bar Harbor prices

Very clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants, shopping and the highway. Very good breakfast included.

Very nice stay and inexpensive. Convenient location.

Was very clean... Based on my stay of 1 night I can recommend... rate was $99 on a Sunday in July

Very comfortable, clean, friendly . Cookies and milk at bedtime ! Close to Umaine and near many restaurants. Would definitely stay again !

This hotel was a good hotel. The only issue we had was finding the place. For some reason all my GPS told me the wrong road. Its is in a good location near shopping. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of things for breakfast. Checking in and out were easy and fast. The hotels air conditioner worked great, very quiet. We stayed on the second floor. We heard no noise above us. just the people in the hallway. We stayed on a Saturday was very busy but quiet.

Nice place!!! Staff was very helpful especially since it was our first time in the area.

Great hotel for the price. Better than some alternatives, only about 1 hour drive to Acadia.

My sister, niece and I had taken a trip to Maine to visit family. Some lived just outside of Bangor and some up north. We had never stayed at a Comfort Inn. Ours was located next to the Bangor Mall which gave us the ease of shopping and dining. The staff was welcoming and friendly and our room was immaculate. Great shower, wonderful beds, and all the amenities we needed. A hot breakfast buffet every morning offered for plenty of time to enjoy whenever we arose. We asked for a cot and one was provided readily at no charge. We will absolutely stay there again!

This hotel is rather new, in great condition and all is in top working order. The breakfast was rather elaborate. The room was very comfortable, good sized and well decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you expect a Four Seasons Resort, this will disappoint. Otherwise, you will be quite pleased.

Had a pleasant stay with this hotel. Nice Staff and relaxing atmosphere.

My wife and I were on our 50th anniversary getaway and the word lobster was all she could think of. The motel itself was clean, the desk clerks were helpful w/ suggeseted places to visit and eat. The free morning breakfast was always hot and fresh along with a make your own waffle station and even the cleaning ladies were very pleasant. Cheese and crakers everyday at 5 and warm cookies and coffee at 8 for your nightime dessert. Many places to see close to Bangor, Acadia Nation park, Bar Harbor, and even Canada just 150 mi. N. Couldn't be happier w/ motel and whole trip. You won't be disappointed!

Very clean, close to shops, not expensive. If you need one night stay while you are passing by, this is an ideal hotel.

We opted for this motel mostly because it was both near the Bangor Mall AND the Airport and we would happily go there again at any point. The room was spotless and beautiful, the staff were amazing, the breakfast was well above 'average', the location is absolutely perfect. Quiet, easy, peaceful. Free breakfast with loads of options. Free shuttle to the airport with safe and helpful drivers.

Tasty breakfast and great location. We took a night in here on the way to Acadia national park. Strongly recommendable.

The name of the Hotel is not the Hampton Inn, they have built a new one across the Highway. The name of the hotel is now the Comfort Inn. What a disater trying to check in at the Hampton only to find out the the reservation was at another hotel. Please verify your information before someone else goes through this same experience.

After spending our days visiting family, it was nice to go back to our room at the Hampton Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was in good working order - TV, air conditioner. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and there were plenty of fresh towels daily. The breakfast buffet was great! Plenty of variety, something for everyone.

we were out for the whole day but our stay was good i think everything was there which should be

Couldn't ask for a better location for a shopping trip to Bangor. Close to mall, restaurants, overall a central location. Arrived close to 6:30 on a Saturday night to be told that there was complimentary chicken and dumplings in the breakfast area and that there would be homemade cookies and milk at the front desk at 7pm. What a welcome...a great experience. Complimentary breakfast was good, a bit busy but the line moved quickly...and the breakfast area is a bit small and warm, not air conditioned. Clean room, bathroom newly renovated. Only complaint would be the air conditioner didn't work at top performance.

As we have come to expect with Hampton Inns, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, linens and pillows were great. When traveling on the road, this overnight stay was a big plus in addition to the new spotless dining area with free breakfast. We arrived in the evening to the smell of fresh baked cookies and a friendly, courteous staff -- how wonderful is that!
