I don't even want to get into it.
Good breakfast. Grab & Go option is good. Room cleanliness need to improve.
Ok, hear me out... I read reviews after i booked our room for Graduation Weekend. I'm glad it happened the way it did, because I may not have chosen this place. Yes, its older. Yes, updating is super needed. However, the rooms (we had two) were very clean and great for what we needed to do. I don't know that i could stay more than two nights on the beds, though. Night one was fine, but night two left me a little sore and stiff. Just another thing to update, I guess! The highlight, however, is the STAFF. Everyone we had to interact with was fantastic! They were kind and even very funny at times. I enjoyed them!! If you're on the fence, just do it. Maybe if we continue to support them, they can afford to fix the things that need it. We WILL stay here again!
Wife and I traveled to Bangor to shop, get away, and visit a couple of friends. We didn't plan to be in the room much except to shower, change clothes, and sleep. The accommodations worked out fine for us. The room was clean, plenty of hot water, and a comfortable king size bed. We stayed three nights and with the money we saved on the room rate we had quite a bit extra to shop with and go out to eat nice meals. This worked out well for us and we will definitely do it again.
Beside the fact that you could see that the bathroom door had been "kicked in", the room left a lot to be desired. Needed patching and painting. The new jamb of the bathroom door had the screws protruding from it. The tub had very little color left to it - very gray on the bottom. The bed was very uncomfortable.
Worst room I have ever stayed in. Looked like something out of a horror film. Only clean thing was the linens. Would have left if every place in town wasn't sold out.
Be reminded, it doesn't have a refrigerator or microwave in the room. If you just need a place for a couple of nights, this one is good for you.
It was surprisingly comfortable and clean for a motel. We would stay again if we came back to Bangor. We only stayed the night as we were passing through Bangor to get to Niva Scotia.
Bathroom was filthy. Footprints in the tub. Around bed, where it was about 6" from the wall not vacuumed. Refridgerator not turned on.
first room was a smoking room with a horrible odor and flies
No smoking rooms were clean a faint smell of some type of cleaner could be smelled, new ac unit cool dud
Exceptionally clean rooms The building is old and worn, but rooms are clean, well apportioned and comfortable. The House Keeping Staff is very friendly and helpful.
I stayed a few nights and let me start by saying that house keeping does a really really good job compared to most budget motels. The man that comes around in the late morning is super friendly and helpful. Thank You The building is old and pretty worn but is a suitable and safe feeling place to stay, so long as you aren't looking for a 5 star place.
I got a smoking room, and it was well smoked in. I had to sleep with a shirt over my mouth to breath. I would stay again is it was a non smoking room
Easy access on/off the main road. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Pool/hot tub were just right for us.
If you need a decent place to stay and aren't spoiled to the "extras" that many chains provide, this was a great value. Hopefully they will be able to invest in some plumbing up-grades in the future, but I've paid more for worse.
