they have a tiki bar

Check in staff not friendly and room view very terrible, may be my booking from travel agent(cheap guest ) so when I check in staff not that friendly

The grounds of this hotel are beautiful and are well-maintained by friendly staff. We felt safe and enjoyed the gorgeous gardens and view.

The facility is clean but a bit old. The indoor AC unit is like 20 years old and is very noisy. My ocean view room is nice and the view from the balcony is awesome.

Great views, clean property, pet friendly

There was hair on/in the bed, in the sink…I arrived around 9pm and they wouldn’t give me a different room. I was even willing to downgrade my room and they said they don’t do that. So I had to wait for them to come up and clean the room and change out the sheets. The person wasn’t very pleasant and had me point out all the hairs I found. Once he saw them for himself, his attitude changed a bit for the better. Very obvious he was annoyed and/or didn’t believe me or something.

Over priced. Room not made up.

Quiet, convenient, free laundry…..

Great view, great restaurant. The room was clean and beds were comfy. Quick drive to town and right next to the entrance of the park.

There was nothing to like. The facility is extremely dated. Our room had plaster off the ceiling, chipped and damaged doors, a bathroom out of the 1950s, there was no desk or writing area in the room just two chairs and a table that could have qualified for antique status if they weren’t so beat up. The whole place was archaic. No money has been spent to update anything in the place.

Best thing about the place is the heated pool. Eden house is very outdated but still expensive. Probably wouldnt stay here again.

I paid more for an “ocean view” and there was a full pine tree blocking the view.

The tiki bar is awesome, but could have longer hours. Room service is still not available. Coffee availability in the morning was not communicated to guests. The gardens and the views are lovely from most areas of the property, but the price we paid for a parking lot view with no balcony was over the top. Great location from downtown, great walkability. Breakfast was average, nothing to write home about. No microwave or premium Movie or channels great place to stay, but not the best in Bar Harbor by any means. They should be sure to keeps their rates reasonable.

Rooms in Eden House need upgrade to HVAC. Rooms musty and had bad odor.

It was great
