Fantastic property surrounded by gods countrys

It was very convenient location, area is beautiful. However, we were placed above ground level without access to an elevator(no options). Then informed no buffet breakfast(understandable with Covid-but the State was basically unmasked as of 5/24). Then barking dogs left in room across the hall barked for hours, the best method of desk response was texting, the room cleaning a whole other issue. AFter two days there had to ask the staff to clean, the made the bed and threw us 2 towels, after two additional days we texted and requested room cleaned...they responded and cleaned room. Should not have to do that. Not in a 3 or 4 start resort as they claim to be. Lastly, and this is just the icing it is a no smoking property, but we were constantly assailed with cigarette smoke every evening and morning as the guests smoked freely on the balconies.

I liked the bed in the room my partner and i didnt want to get up the next morning. The jacuzzi was also nice after our long motorcycle ride that day.

The rooms were dated. No USB ports for devices in room. But clean and met our needs. Our rooms were in a separate building from the main building where all of the amenities are which hadn’t been clear in booking, but was fine. It was too cold to really use the outdoor pool/hot tub anyway. The views from the main building and property were lovely, and the location was convenient.

Free upgrade to suite at Harborside in dowtown on water.

Room was super dusty smelled bit funky. TV remote, phone and alram were broken. Worst experience. I will never return to this hotel.

The furnishings are old and outdated. The desk in our room had wobbling legs and the desk chair didn't fit under the table

Great location. It's beautiful by the water. Friendly staff. But WiFi is just terrible and hardly works :-(

The location is great! And the heated pool and hot tub is great.

This property is absolutely beautiful. It sits in the middle of Acadia National Forest on the Atlantic Ocean surrounded by amazingly unreal vistas of the ocean, islands, inlets and nature. The property is clean and extremely well maintained. The restaurant is decent but nothing to write home about culinary wise. There's much better food and drinks in the town of Bar Harbor only a 5 minute drive from the hotel. My only gripe would be that the day we arrived the hotel experienced a power surge and pretty much nothing was functioning properly or at all in the hotel. After approximately 24 hours they managed to get power back up and running including the elevator. Thank goodness we were only one flight up and I didn't have to carry luggages very far up. The WiFi service in the hotel the entire week stay absolutely sucked. There's zero cell phone reception in the area of the resort and you need a good WiFi signal to check emails, surf the internet and make phone calls. None of it was possible the entire stay. Otherwise, we all had a very relaxing time and I'd probably visit again.

We had a great 3 day stay at the Holiday Inn Bar Harbor. Beautiful weather. Fantastic view. Everyone wearing masks indoors.

Loved our partial ocean view room. Think we were in one of the renovated rooms. Pool was great and heated. Great location for going into Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. WiFi was definitely lacking and practically non existent.

The only pros to this hotel are the view and the location. The general grounds were clean. However the room itself was very dirty with hair all over the place; on the floor, the tables, the bed, the tub, everywhere. There was a layer of dust on the headboard. The bathroom sink area was covered in grime. Luckily i brought Lysol wipes because it was so bad i would not feel comfortable sleeping there without cleaning myself. The rag I used was black by the time I was done. When we asked for a different room, we were told they were booked and someone could be dcheduled to clean the room the NEXT day. The staff we dealt with were not accommodating and they were very rude. The front desk staff gave dirty looks, condescending tones, and refused to solve the issue. The next day when i requested the cleaning, the front desk staff then said whoever we dealt with neglected to out us in the cleaning schedule, but shed try her best to get the room picked up. So of course the new "clean" was rushed. It was just a losing battle. We never got offered another room. J give my advice; dont stay unless you dont mind a dirty room or being your own housekeeping..

Nice, clean and comfy room. Public area are very clean and beautiful interior. Due to pandemic so every morning have to wait for a bit longer for breakfast, but this is fine, they are doing their best to serve everyone.

Sitting on balcony looking at the water. Nicley kept

I would have preferred to stay in main hotel not adjacent
