The hotel was impeccably kept with friendly staff. While it is not fancy, it is great for what it is. I recommend staying outside of Bar Harbor instead of in town if you want a bit more of a serene environment. The town was fine but tons of gift shops and tourist stuff that was not so much up my alley.
I feel very happy that I picked Quimby House Inn & Spa for the long weekend stay in Bar Harbor. The room was so amazing. The room was spacious. We had a huge king size bed and nice chairs with a small table. The bathroom was big and had a nice bathtub. It was such a comfortable stay, just what we needed after long walks in the park.
Hotel was good, people were nice and stay was good. Beds were too soft but I'm used to sleeping on a firm mattress.
Convenient to Acadia. Also close to stores and restaurants in Ellsworth if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor.
